Great fish and chip shop. Portion sizes are great! Wait time wasn't ideal with a little lack in communication. But all in all a great chip shop!
Don’t get the “mini fish”!
I have no idea what this fish is but it is not very tasty or fresh. They said they would cook fresh and I wish I hadn’t seen the guy get the fish from the freezer and stick it straight in the batter (frozen) and then cook, no wonder they said it would take 15mins. The chips were old and stale too, probably not helped that I arrived at 2pm on a Tuesday but still, it costs me £9 for rotten fish and stale chips. The fish was really tough and not the usual flaky texture you expect at a chip shop, it looked more like a fresh water fish, very flat.
Not going back there.
We had takeaway from here twice during our stay in Belton/Grantham. Have to say for value for money it was excellent and the portion sizes were very good too. All the food was hit and freshly cooked. We has chips and sausage but they also do kebabs. I had a small wait each time but was happy to wait. Would definitely return next time we are in Grantham. Parking was in a lay-by outside but can get very busy and there are.other takeaways on the same precinct, if it is full you can.park on the road.
Worst ever fish and chips had from this shop. Fish with a very thick batter layer, not cooked. Chips as well.

The chips are lovely.... The size is huge ,large portions easily enough for 2 . Fish is really nice, portions are normal. Good value ,
Been a regular here for years, went today and prices have risen more than others in the area. Portion sizes are still good but tonites tikka meat was disgusting. It has always been proper chicken pieces but tonites was more like cheap, sloppy, cold reconstituted meat, very watery and no taste.
I dont like leaving negative reviews so i hope this is read with a view to address
Beautiful fish and a very large portion of chips. The chips were s bit mushy because of how many there were, and the way they were wrapped. But they were delicious.
