We were in kessingland for NYE and after googling this place for months before, it did not disappoint. The haddock and cod was juicy and proper chip shop chips. Great prices. Best of all, the classic knickerbocker glory. Not many places still do these and it was so good. Thank you so much. Great for big groups!

Called in today for a takeaway I had regular cod and a sausage. The wife had regular Haddock and we shared a large chips. Can honestly say it's one of the best fish and chip meals we have had in a long time. Light crispy batter and very nice chips too very friendly owner too. Only live in oulton broad so not to far for first class fish and chips.
Excellent fish and chips, freshly cooked and at a great price and there's a great selection of fish to choose from, plus the other usual fish shop selection. The service was good and they take cash and credit cards ( Not America Express ) Not many tables inside so you need to get there early or book over the phone. The parking was also good plus there's a car park a short distance away.
First time trying this place today had fish and chips. Omg the batter was lovely thin and crispy absolutely yummy the chips good too .we took away I would myself rate this 10 out of 10 really delicious. We will definitely return.
Okay Fish & Chips, not sure why there are so many 5 star ratings though….
We ate in at the restaurant. Firstly the cod isn’t skinless like most chippies today, also I opted for a large cod & my partner went for regular cod, hers was thicker & flakier than mine, whereas mine was long but very thin so hers was more substantial which defeats having a large cod, so my advice is just order regular cod.
As for the chips the portion was a bit mean, only a half sized portion compared to most chippies I visit, they also had a slightly rubbery chewy texture from the chips from being left soaking in the water too long, which is a shame.
Meal was otherwise just okay in my honest opinion. Certainly not the worst and certainly not the best I’ve had, not worth 5 stars, just my honest opinion.
Staff were pleasant enough.
Stopped on the way back from Covehithe beach. The food was wonderful and plentiful. Fish & chips in Norfolk, highly recommended. Speedy service too ????❤️
Fish was lovely, good size. Chips nice, burger wasn't the best. Service with a smile. No NHS or Bluelight discount. Car parking outside. Would go again
