My first time in Batch and really enjoyed it, it had a nice chilled out atmosphere here and the beer choice is nothing short of amazing which is nice as I usually have Altringham down as more for its Belgium beer choice. We didn't eat here but we just stopped for a couple of drinking. Batch as can or bottle options as well has a few beers on draught. The food is apparently great but we had a meal booked elsewhere.
It's a comfortable and relaxing place to get a drink. Not sure if it was just the time I went but there wasn't any music blasting in the background meaning we could all hear each other without having to raise our voices which is a welcome relief. My only complaint would be that I was unable to get a cup of tea so was forced to enjoy a bottle of delicious cider instead. Aside from that scandal, I would recommend it and will likely be coming back.
Pete the excellent barman served the finest Deya and put us onto “they call me Mr. Sanchez” for chicken wings and burgers from next door which Pete allowed us to eat in the bar. The best Friday lunchtime.

After a bit of a Google to find a good independent shop for beer related gift, I plumped for Batch and was not disappointed. Tucked away in Kings Court, I was warmly welcomed & the gentleman who served me obviously knew his stuff & took time to make me up a great little gift box. Great experience from a retail point of view, but I can imagine with its open lay out and cool interior it's a great place for an evening drink too. I will definitely be back. 5*
The steak sandwich was something else. Steak was perfectly cooked, melt in your mouth, everything about this sandwich screams well balanced and the potatoes were ideal. Not to mention the video super chilled, welcoming and not pretentious
Fabulous bar with excellent choice of beers. Had Westmalle double. Quality beer. Happy ???? Days
