Fantastic night out every time. Great atmosphere busy virberant. Service was good considering the amount of people there.
DEFINITELY BE BACK.
It is what it is. Reasonably priced drinks and current music. Friday and Saturday nights it's the place to finish your evening. Not much to look at and not the cleanest but that's not why you go. Downstairs tends to be the younger crowd and it can feel a bit testosterone and drama filled. Upstairs is over 25s. During the week it is much quieter, but it is open later than other pubs on a week night which is good. Clientele can leave a lot to be desired on occasion, but the bouncers do a good job.
Overall it is the place to go late Saturday night, and you will have a good time even though you might not like the place!
First time since covid that I've visited, love the improvements, only place to have a proper dance upstairs!!
But the amount of police was off putting and the dance floor being wet was definitely a saftey hazard... drunk or not!! Could also do with air conditioning ????
Good place to meet up with friends for a boogie. Downstairs dance floor is seen as playing more current dance music while upstairs also mixes in the 'oldies but goodies'. Drinks aren't extortionate and its run like a local friendly pub.
Came here for pool (my team won!).
Anyway, it's a night club. As far as I know, the only one in Newton Abbot still going.
Drinks prices are way overpriced. Bottle of beer is £4.50.
I went there on a Sunday evening, and besides the pool teams, the place was dead. No one there at all.
Took care of me when I was in my worst state, free sausage roll to help and plenty of water. The staff are amazing, so thank you so much. They deserve recognition ????
Just from personal experience place is wheel chair friendly and open area to walk or roll freely through ground floor big selection of drinks. Night club atmosphere.
Attended tonight. Met a nice girl in the toilets (standard) she put a gypsy curse on me. Currently scared to sleep. Will give a strong 5 star for everything else though
