Went here for a few drinks, ordered something that had just sold out but they had it across the road at foreign muck (the sister restaurant), I asked if they mind bringing a few of them over for us, which they do regularly for customers ive seen, to be told "I'm not doing that", by a server, another young server overheard this and immediately offered to do this which was really great of her. I made a point of thanking her personally for doing that as I feel its little things like that, that go a long way in the world of customer service.
Gorgeous sandwiches. The tables aren't sticky because they're dirty it's the treatment they've used on the reclaimed wood. Coffee is nice, and we love the decor. Looking forward to returning in better weather so we can sit outside ????
Unfortunately not a great experience. I'm not sure if our food order was forgot but 40minutes for 2, very hard, overcooked toasties and a portion of pancakes. Annoyingly when we ordered we asked what the side of soup was for the day. We were told there was no soup. The table next to us ordered 5mins later, ordered the tomato soup no problem, same server. Tables very sticky and overall very expensive for below average experience.
Wow, what an experience. My tummy is so happy. One proper brekkie (large) and a Proper Veggie (large) beat us. However, we kept trying, we did not want to be beaten, even the homemade brown sauce had us wanting more. The veggie sausages hadn't come in, so the chef used his culinary skills to form me some sausages from another veggie product, absolutely smashing personalised customer service. We were not disappointed at all. Even the meat-eater said it was THE Best breakfast he has ever had....now that's something! Thank you, Bandits team.
Update: back today and this time I had the vegetable skillet with a side of sourdough toast, what is not to love about veggies drizzled in cheese amd dripping in egg. Oh my mouth was sooo happy ????
I have been to Bandits a few times now, a couple of lunches and breakfast. All of my meals have been delicious and there are lots of other dishes I would like to try. The menu has been thoughtfully put together to give lots of variety, especially the breakfast options. Bonus too that the portions are huge! I'm already looking forward to my next breakfast there.
Very sticky tables have put us off going back there. We expected better hygiene post-covid.
The service was half-hearted.
We didn't eat, but the chips the couple next to us looked dry and inedible.
Excellent food the toasted cheese sandwiches are so good, staff very helpful and happy to help. Today was the first time but it wouldn't be the last.
Was given the wine menu at 9.30? Coffee wasn't hot sticky tables and crumbs in the window from the night before. Didn't eat so can't comment on food
