Nice Indian sweets available at normal price.
Good service. From here we can take out some other restaurant food like biriyani, curries from their own restaurant Banana Leaf. Sweets are really good.
Two stars for the only two pieces of paneer in my 'Paneer and vegetable biriyani'. Every time I order from here I hope it will be better, and every time I am disappointed.
We love the Banana Leaf! Everything there is always fresh and tasty and there's a vast variety of savory dishes to choose from (and then a large one on the sweet side too!) . We always get the veggie Samosa as a starter, which is huge, and most recently enjoyed the veggie Biriyani, which made two people completely full, along with a Samosa each. The service there is always with a smile and over all it is a great independent addition to the neighbourhood!
I have never tasted like this food from anywhere...and too expensive which is compared to the taste of food....if we spend this much money so at least the food must be tasty....
I feel like the food is getting worse and it tastes very old as if it was out of date almost?
Before I bought from there few times and every box had a label on it stating the production and expiry date of the food, yesterday I bought it and it didn’t have it?
When I got home, warmed it up, the rice was so dried out with only few pieces of lamb in it (biryani).
I have mixed feelings. It feels as if whatever might not sell out in a restaurant, these might be the leftovers that get packed into boxes and have a little of reduced price? Hopefully I’m wrong.
I don’t think it’s fair to sell food especially and not stating any labels. People have sensitivity and intolerances and that’s something that should be taken on board.
Tasty biryani, nice n spicy and pretty tender chicken. The paneer roll was good too. Reasonable price for a flavourful filling meal, will def be back :)
Very poor value for money. The £7.95 lamb curry contained only 3 or 4 small pieces of very chewy meat and very runny sauce. By the time I’d got it home, heated it up and realised what it was like, it was too much hassle and too late to take it back. The veg curry was very slightly better.
