Amazing atmosphere, everyone is lovely and inclusive with great portion sizes and amazing flavours! The soup you are given to drink is delicious and helps wash down the meal. The best part was the people inside with fun conversations getting us involved. We will definitely be back!
Went there to try something different. Very welcoming, even the customers, they recognise you're not from Somalia region. Very community oriented, felt comfortable and enjoyed the home cooked meal. Definitely off the beaten track and a great gem.
I took a mixed vegetarian meal... clear soup to start then maize meal with spinach stew and mixed vegetables...was delicious, healthy and filling. Staff and atmosphere is super friendly too... and excellent value for money.
Will always be my favourite somali resturant! If you want food that taste like your hoyoo (Mum) has cooked it then, this is the place for you. The service is top notch and the staff are polite and very friendly. Wish I can give more than 5 stars!
Nice food but dine-in is not suitable for girls. If anyone wish to go there; it’s better to go 2 or 3 together. I have orders Somalian sokar. It is kind of roasted beef with rice, banana and vegetable soup. As I like spicy food so it taste better to ask chilli sauce along.
I did take away and have this with salad that I made at home.
The staff were very friendly and gave great food recommendations. The food was excellent, very affordable, and the portion sizes were great
I enjoy coming here for affordable, authentic Somali food. What the restaurant lacks in aesthetics they have in flavour, service and price.
First time trying Somali food - it was absolutely delicious! The rice was beautifully fragrant, and the spice and banana complemented each other very well. They also serve breakfast food (flat-bread), again, delicious. The staff are also very kind :)
Note that it is cash-only.
