Amazing fish and chip shop with huge variety, including lots of vegan options! Always such a treat to have vegan fish and chips by the seaside. I had the banana blossom fish and chips and husband had the cod burger and pulled pork dirty chips, all delicious and fresh! Portion sizes are great, staff were friendly and chatty, and we were even able to phone ahead and pick up our order. Will definitely be back when we're next in the area!

Came back here again on another family Butlins chips, happy to say another great visit, very happy after my "Dirty Chippy", still amazing portions, didn't really need to order for kids given all the chips we got on normal portions.
Well worth the trip.

Went looking for a good local chippy on a family trip to Butlins, picked out Bampton Street Fish Bar after looking at the menu and their generally great reviews we weren't disappointed, great portion sizes, will be coming back later for the "Dirty Chippy" options from the menu.
Went in to buy a large sausage and chips and was served by a lovely lady who made sure my order was correct. The food was piping hot I have heard the old owner has left so was expecting the new owners food not to my taste but I was mistaken it was better . The chips where fresh and hot crispy with no residue of oil like before well done to the new owners will be back on Friday

Re visit so much better loving way the food is cooked myself and the wife had cod and chips and it was delicious.
The food wasn’t oily like it had been in the past definitely feels like a positive change
Best fish and chips we've ever had. Flaky fish, and perfectly cooked chips. The vegan fish was delicious too, clearly made by someone who knows what they are doing. Thank you! Only wish we lived closer!
Hidden away and where the locals go - the best fish n chips we've ever had, even cooked a couple of sausages for our dog- a well deserved 5star rating, the service great with everyone chatting away - can't recommend enough????
Absolutely fantastic food, been after a decent fish and chips for a very long time and found it here. Freshly cooked and generous portion. Shame I'm only down for the weekend
Very nice! Especially impressed with the vegan fish! It’s made with seaweed and banana blossom!!! Soooo yummy!!!!!! So nice !
My favourite chippy. Huge portions, always piping hot and fresh food. Super friendly staff, clean establishment. I could eat here everyday. Highly recommend!! Dirty chips, battered cod and the curry sauce are definitely the best items on the menu.
