Terrible! The first time I visited bamboo many years ago it was great. Sadly it's went downhill. I placed an order within the shop face to face. Once I got home I found they had given us chicken Szechuan instead of chicken noodle soup. (Neither of them sound the same). I called up and they told me that I had to drive back to the shop with the chicken Szechuan and they would swap with chicken noodle soup. So I was a bit miffed that I had to leave my other food to go cold in the house and drive back to the shop. When I got there they hadn't even started making the soup yet, and they made the excuse that the guy behind the till didn't understand my accent. The guy behind the till had hawick accent and I too also have a hawick accent, so a poor excuse. I told them what should have happened was that the shop should have used there delivery driver to bring the soup out to us and pick up the Szechuan chicken, and brought the cash difference, (that would have been good customer service). After various poor excuses, they eventually have me the soup and gave the soup for free and refunded. Got in the car and got home, and guess what, wrong soup this time, so I wasn't best pleased called them up, and the guy answered, he passed the phone to the manager and I could hear him say it's that guy again and started laughing thinking it's funny. Well I ain't laughing. I explained they gave me the wrong soup, and she made all kinds of excuses, then said I was being malicious and I was trying to destroy her business and it's my fault. Am not quite sure why it's my fault and why am being malicious, placed and order and they got it wrong twice, that's not my fault and it's certainly not malicious. Maybe they were the malicious ones did they give the wrong soup on purpose? I don't know but they certainly got it wrong. I told her that I haven't had a good experience and my review would reflect my experience. She told me if I give her a good review that she will refund my meal. I told her that I don't take bribes, and that I won't lie on my review. She then said doni go around giving bad reviews, nope I have done many reviews some good some bad depends on the experience. Another point of complaint was the ribs, tiny pieces of ribs (see pic) there was more veg than meat in the rib container. I won't be ever again. This place is terrible and can't admit when they got it wrong. A customer should never be made to be put at an inconvenience for their mistakes. I accept human error, but I shouldn't have been made to come back out to the shop and I certainly would expect that they would at least check the meal second time round. And the poor excuses and then telling the customer it's their fault tells me they don't value customers. And laughing over the phone at the customer doesn't help. Avoid and find somewhere better. Terrible won't be back.
Great food highly recommended especially try the salt and pepper chicken strips yummmmmmmmmy
Fantastic food, with good portions, tasty and inspiring. Reasonable priced, a wide and very good selection of food available on the menu, and even home delivery. Friendly and accommodating. A superb place for food.

Burnt crispy husks of what were supposed to be chicken balls, orange sauce with the duck tasted of only pineapple, delivery quoted at 20 minutes... arrived in less than 10, 100% a cheeky reheat, won't be back. Sweet and sour sauce was fine as were the noodles.
Starters (prawn toast and spring rolls) were nice, and flavours of the mains were good - nice chilli kick in the crispy beef. Shame it was chewy rather than crispy & the duck we had was grey and inedible. It was clearly not freshly cooked.
