Best KPortal Reviews

After reading the reviews, I pondered whether they've altered their approach or if I simply lucked out with a good experience. The coffee was enjoyable, the carrot cake portion was generous and tasty, the staff were wonderful, and the view was stunning. However, I'm still perplexed by why many others didn't have the same positive experience.
There are a few options for desserts and some different sandwiches. The desserts are a bit over priced( my blueberry cake cost 3.5 pounds and it is so tiny) but the tea and coffee are ok and just have reasonable prices. There chairs and tables are very cheap, but sitting next to the window would be more worth it. However, it is a very crowded place. It seems some people sit here for a very long time and wouldn’t leave. I still like this cafe though because it’s not as bad as some other museum cafe which are so dirty and poorly managed.
Food completely uninspiring - a cold ‘bagel’ with the texture of a roll filled with cold and wet avocado. Run out of sparkling water, napkins, white sugar…. Coffee ok but not great.
Gallery cafes are often bizarrely overpriced, surly-staffed, and generally unimpressive in the taste dept. This one is different! Great food at reasonable prices, in a vibrant, relaxed venue. With friendly staff ????
Terrible! 3.30 on a Sunday afternoon and absolutely nothing to eat. Many staff standing about and no one in a hurry to serve you. I counted five staff wandering about and more interested in talking to each other than actually serving customers. The glass cabinet which I assume should have cakes etc was completely empty!
An awesome place to dine in, and an amazing view over the bridge and the river. Definitely recommended!
Nice atmosphere and coffee, the food isn’t great. Ordered espresso with a nice view.
Nice laid back venue with a good choice of food and drinks at the quay side setting. Great choice in music as well.
