Beautiful place, steeped with glorious scenery, gardens are stunning & the staff are all brilliant
Epic to see the much talked about Balmoral Castle and Estate. It's very beautiful in winter with mist rolling in over the Estate.
The cafeteria, however, is very disorganized and extremely expensive.
So pleased to be able to visit here 2 weeks ago! Lovely grounds and a fabulous display of photos in the ballroom. Kitchen gardens were slightly disappointing as not all the ground was planted up which surprised me. A great cafe too!
Free entry to grounds until May whilst major landscaping and development being undertaken. Fantastic grounds, beautifully maintained
We didn't realise you could drive by the gates rather than park and pay £5 just to take a few photos of the gate.
We went to visit the Pyramid. It's a lovely walk however not if you are not great at walking, it's quite a trek from the car park to the pyramid.. Once your on the trail it's uphill. We loved it and the views from the top. It's peaceful and well worth visiting. It's free no tickets to buy.
We had a lively afternoon wondering the grounds of Balmoral. We pre-booked pur tickets and the audio was complementary, rather than the usual £5. Very interesting to hear about all the various aspects. It was a lovely afternoon, except for the rain!
Going early as we did Las Thursday we almost had the grounds of Balmoral Castle to ourselves, it was a wonderful experience.
