Food is fantastic. A real tasty treat! Eat in or take away. Service can be slow but well worth the wait. Breakfast, lunch or dinner. Staff are friendly. Plenty of space for social distancing too. Lovely restaurant set up with views of the park.
We took an impulsive walk to Back a Yard as it was such a lovely day out. A professional young gentlemen Alexander served us. He was very welcoming and hospitable throughout our dining experience. Together with the wonderful flavours each dish provided and the generous portions, we’ll definitely return.
I have ordered a fully English breakfast from this restaurant and it was out of this world. The food quality was excellent, very fresh and delicious. On top of that the service was excellent. I will definitely come again and will recommend to all my friends and family .
This was my first visit... It was a Sunday and quiet.. I had Oxtail & Rice.. & my daughter had Traditional Chicken Roast Dinner.. Both tasty.. Nice service.. Lovely local find...
What a great experience! This chef can cook! Every meal was tasty, flavoured perfectly and cooked to perfection! We were full on the starters! We happily waited for our fresh food to be cooked.
There is no alcohol licence yet but the mocktails were so delicious we did not need the booze. The waitress was great with a genuine smile, she was happy to serve us.
We had chicken wings, snapper, curry goat, lamb chops, vegetable wraps and kids meal, fish and chips. All on point!
The space is big so you were not on top of your neighbour.
The price is good too.
This is a little gem in the heart of Kidbrook Village!
Wasn't impressed. Tasteless fried fish, Rock hard bammy on first visit. Second visit played it safe with ceasar salad and prawns: over fried prawns, unwashed salad. Cracked glass with my smoothie, which was the best part of my meal. I doubt that I will eat there again!

The ambience of the sitting areas are great and a well-stocked bar.
