Best KPortal Reviews

I had this restaurant on my list for years and finally we had the opportunity to pay it a visit and O-M-G it was fantastic!!!
We went for lunch on a weekday and ordered the lunch deal which includes a side + main + drink only for £10!! ????
Our favorites were the kimchi pancake, the kimchi and the KFC bab. However we consider the latest one extremely sweet.
The service was good and we had plenty of time after lunch to keep chatting ????.
I'd definitely be back with more friend!
I had the kimchi pancake and the fried chicken. Both were delicious and addicting to eat. The prices are very fair. However, for some reason, Heat Waves by Glass Animals was playing on loop for an hour. It's that tiktok song that goes, "Sometimes All I think about is you...". I don't know if this was some sort of tradition in the restaurant where you play tiktok songs all night. It was a bit confusing, but it was fun, I guess.
Great Korean place. Best place for a work-week lunch in Dalston. They have a lunch deal for just 7£.
The food was not very authentic and there were a lot of misses. As a Korean, I'm also disappointed that the kimchi was extremely sour and had a strong vinegar taste and that they also charged £3.50 for a small bit of lettuce with the BBQ. We came for dinner and between the three of us, we shared the vegetable japchae (small amounts of vegetable and not at all an authentic taste), beef kimbap (too much rice and didn't even have danmuji in it), the yangneom Korean fried chicken (really good flavour and the only thing I really enjoyed) and the beef bulgogi and pork belly for the BBQ. I appreciate that one of the waitresses was trying to help by putting the pork belly on the BBQ plate straight away but she put the whole portion on it, meaning the meat wasn't cooking properly. I had to ask her to bring another bowl so I could take a lot of the meat off and cook the meat in smaller amounts. Unfortunately, this place is not for me.
One of the best Korean restaurants out there, hands down! Everyone was super attentive and lovely and the food was honestly AMAZING! I can’t stop talking about the flavours! Really recommend this place! I only spent a bit more than usual due to ordering so much as I couldn’t get enough!
This Korean BBQ restaurant was perfect for the evening catch up I had planned with my friend, they were very welcoming, child friendly and every dish that we ordered was delicious!
The cocktails (the Plum Delight and the Siren Ginger) and the Strawberry Soju were sweet, flavourful and strong enough for a nice buzz without getting you drunk. The Citron tea was sweet and a new experience that I would highly recommend. Food wise we had the thinly sliced beef steak and the thinly sliced pork belly for the bbq, we had the seafood pancake, Yangnyeom chicken, garlic fried rice and plain rice as side dishes too.
The atmosphere was great, it wasn’t too loud and you could have a conversation without being drowned out by noise. All in all a wonderful experience.
I’ve been here several times for lunch, as I enjoy getting the lunch special - a side, main and a drink, all for £10. Whilst the dumplings aren’t anything special, I do like the kimchi pancakes and the yangnyeom kfc bab. I also recently had the seafood pancake too and really enjoyed it :)
Walked past earlier in the week & had to stop to take in the beautiful aroma. I told my friend about it & decided we should try it out. We weren't aware we needed to book in advance, but the waitress & owner offered us a table despite no booking which was lovely of them. Everything we ordered was delicious & packed full of flavour. The waiting staff were very helpful, friendly & efficient too. I will definitely be returning here & I've even recommended a few of my local friends to try it out already.
