Fantastic garage, what a find ! We were on a day out from Stoke and had a problem with my F Type Jag on a Saturday morning, these guys said they could take a look at us straight away and promptly diagnosed the issue and advised me on how to get it sorted. Had a great 'car chat ' and looked at some of the cool cars they have there. They wouldn't accept any money from me. Our local garages here in Stoke could learn a lot from these guys and I'd be a regular customer if I lived closer, Thanks again !!
Awful service as had my car for months, left my window open when they knew i was having issues with it, hacked down with rain and my passenger side was soaked and where it had been cold my car mats also froze to the carpet, ruined the back of the car mats. Not only that supposed to have fixed my window which they did not as came back the same state it was before and when i rund them they said they would ring back after their holiday which they did not even when i tried to get it sorted. But i later found out not only did they not fix my window they broke my handle inside and, now found out that they stole my mercedes benz window wiper arms. As not been any where else apart from to these cowboys. Absolute rip off and common thieves. If you want any work done on your car do not go here as you will be left worse off and out of pocket.
Fri 18/8/23. Me and my wife were heading towards Welshpool for a long weekend for our wedding anniversary. Travelling from Dudley via M54 and A5. About 10 minutes out of Welshpool at approx 5pm, we noticed a grinding noise and vibration everytime i pressed the footbrake. have a VW Passat Diesel. Pulled over to inspect, but could see nothing obvious. At this poing the noise and vibration was getting worse. My wife was getting worried as we concerned it was now dangerous. Unaware of the area, my wife googled 'Emergency Auto Repairs Welshpool'. We rang Blakemore's to ask for help and explained the problem. We were approx 10 minutes from Welshpool. The contact who we spoke to on the telephone remained calm and gave us instruction how to get to Blakemore's. We arrived approx 5.15pm... on a Friday night when most other garages were either closed, or wouldnt want to take on a problem like this after 5pm. We arrived at Blakemore's. Straight away we were greeted and instructed to drive into the workshop. The car was jacked up, the wheel taken off and we were shown the damage once the break unit had been taken off. They explained the problem in layman terms. We gave them the instruction to go ahead. They managed to source the new brake pads within 10 minutes, replaced both sets of rear pads, driver and passenger side. The car wheels were replaced, car was lowered from the jack, and reversed out. The brakes and brakelights were checked and all in perfect working order. We paid the bill, which covered parts, labour and received a broken down VAT receipt. We left the premises at approx 6.30pm and drove away safely with working brakes. We were astonished that they did not rip us off as they could have charged whatever they wanted, but they didnt. We were astonished they took the job on at 5.15pm on a Friday night and simply not turn us away. They even stayed over to complete the job and help us out. 100% professional service. Would 100% recommend and would use them again. Thank you !!
