I needed Mot for my car which was overdue so I went there to ask about appointment. The gentlemen were very friendly and helpful they said come back in 2 hours same day .they have done mot on my car without any problems. I appreciate there humbleness and friendly attitude. Thanks once again ????
I took my car in for a small fault, and the team at BJ Autos found an easy fix just by cleaning up a component, and they didn't charge me for it at all!! How often does that happen these days? It's really nice to find a company that works on the principle of repeat business through reputation and excellent customer service. I will definitely be back.
Took my Kia in with suspected sticking brake caliper. They inspected the disc braking system and found a displaced anti-rattle shim which they reinstalled. All fine now and the bill was probably less than an hour's labour charge. Wonderful!
Are they a swanky efficient garage? No. Are they a trustworthy family run business… I believe so. Each time I’ve taken my car for repair they’ve completed the job and the price has been about what I expected. My one criticism is their admin. They often make mistakes here; for example, if I didn’t call them up a week later my car would probably still be in their garage. They should really look into refining their admin process to avoid future headaches.

Sorted my MOT and did the work required to pass it. Unfortunately I was issued a fine a few weeks after the work was completed for driving through a pedestrianised part of the road. This had been done by someone from BJAutos while they had my car! Once I realised this I called them to explain but had to take the proof in for the fine. They did agree to pay but I was made to feel a bit uncomfortable and obviously didn't expect this when I took my car in for its MOT. Wouldn't go back as I think there are plenty of garages where you wouldn't risk a fine
For the MOT and full service at £287.81 below is the service what I received.
I was told they could leave the car at their car park once it is done so I came to collect it in the Evening but the car was not there. Called and emailed a number of times but nobody came back until next day so I had to call them around 10am. First of all, no apologies, someone who picked up the phone said "I can't help with every calls. Your car was parked on the street.but I can't tell you the exact location" seriously what kind of customer service is this? I didn't want to waste my time anymore so I told him all I want is my car, make sure it is at the car park when I come to collect it this Evening. Another lady called later on and reassured my car would be placed in the car park. And of course it was not there when I came to pick it up again. I didn't bother to call them or email them as I already know they do not care whatever happens outside their business hours. I had to go around to look for my car and found it under the tree covered with all those leaves. Great to clean them up at night in the rain. They can't handle all the cars they serve, they just do not have a capacity to do that. @BJ Garage - please write what your excuse is
I can only highly recommend B J Autos. A family run business, they are super polite and hard working.
My car’s hand break has been problematic for a while now and whereas Halfords weren’t helpful at all, B J Autos found the problem straight away and ordered in the brake cylinders and replaced them for a very fair price. Thank you!
