Used the twin room so had an amazing view of the loch. The sleep was amazing, and everything was clean.
Host was friendly and with great recommendations for food and activities to do in the area. I feel sad I spent only 1 night as there were many great activities nearby.
We stayed here for 2 nights (2 adults, 2 kids and our dog). We've had a very comfortable stay. Beds are extremely comfy, and we had everything we needed in our rooms. Morag is very accommodating, and checked in on us to make sure we were OK. She gave us plenty of advice on where to go and where to eat. We would stay here again.
Had one night there to finish off my week bothying and walking on the wet, soggy, remote, windswept, wild and stunning interior around Cape Wrath.
Morag was really helpful on the phone. She very kindly allowed me to leave a carrier bag of clean clothes and my trainers at the b&b on arrival 7 days beforehand.
She was also interesting to meet and speak to in person.
I was in the twin room. Great room with a stunning view from the bedroom window. There was a microwave, small fridge, kettle and the breakfast cereals, bread, jams, drinks etc all there. No problem with that whatsoever. Nice shared bathroom with a shower.
Quality place to stay and would definitely stay there again.
Great location, nice view, friendly host. Value for money, however, is quite low. Breakfast is in your room, eaten on a closet where your legs can't fit. Breakfast is clearly budget-style with pre-packaged bread and £1 meat. Not enough toilet paper for two rooms sharing a bathroom. Would be okay for perhaps 60, but not 80, especially when compared to other b&b's in the Highlands.
After a fantastic ride from Thurso we arrived at our B&B only to be told we were far too early and were made to feel quite unwelcome by the owner. All we wanted to do was get changed so we could head for our walk to Sandwood Bay. We felt quite uncomfortable and were glad to get back on the bike for our adventure.|Apart from this welcome the room and shared bathroom facilities were spotless. The bedroom had a fantastic view.|The breakfast was good but sausages could have been better.
Excellent welcome from the host Morag. Shown our room which has good free wifi reception. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a good nights sleep. Prior to our arrival Morag advised us to book a table at the The Old Schoolhouse Restaurant, which gets booked up very quickly. Breakfast was good having been prebooked the previous evening
We stayed one night at this B&B......it was great. ||Morag welcomed us with open arms and made us feel really welcome. Room was spotless and clean and a comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean with a good shower. ||Breakfast in the morning was to die for......I don't think there is anything we could have asked for that wouldn't have been provided.||Thank you for a lovely stay!!
Lovely b&b would highly recommend rooms are beautifully decorated, best nights sleep I had in ages and very clean. |Breakfast was delicious, great choice of cereal, fruit and yoghurts followed by a Scottish breakfast that kept us going all day. will definitely visit your b&b again in the future.
