Really nice little garage and shop, reasonable priced petrol. Brought some bits of shopping and fuel from there along with some kindling and firewood all at very reasonable prices. The lady serving us was nice and very pleasant to talk to
Angry shouty man runs the spot. Has little to no respect for anyone in the way he talks to people, real shame as I used to use regularly.
Unfortunately the experience I had is not a one off, have since spoken to two others who have had the same experience within a week of mine.
Will go to Leyburn or Hawes now.
Great pitstop garage, very friendly owners, has everything you could need! Fuel is a bit pricy but given its location you can't complain.
We stopped here to pick some basic food like the cold sandwiches and coffee. In the time of covid when most restaurants or places were closed during our road trip this place was super helpful. The person on the reception was super friendly too. Could use the restroom as well which is always an issue on road trips.
Bought a Suzuki from here late last year. Cars been excellent. Service we got was first class. Very nice easy people to deal with. No hard sell. Let us take the car for a run unaccompanied. Would definitely use again. One of the nicest experiences I've ever had buying a car. Owned it 6 months and never missed a beat. Keep up the good work

I can whole heartedly recommend this garage and shop. To cut a long story short, I had a punctured front tyre on my motorbike and no way to fix it. These guys, together with the boss of Edgly Garage at Leyburn came up trumps and got me on my way with a new tube, tools and air and wouldn't take payment for it (please don't take this as a general precedent). All the staff were very keen to help and they saved me an awful lot of bike recovery trouble. I will definitely be calling there instead of Hawes from now on. Pleased do the same and support this business.
Quite Expensive
Charged me over £160 for a part he said was £125 over the phone.
We had a long phone conversation about the 2 jobs to do and then got billed for a costly third job which was not mentioned.
When you get charged £48 per hour a phone call is needed to clear this with the customer...
