Ayan’s Restaurant (buffet)
Food: 2.5/5, there was nothing special about the food, standard pilau rice and boiled rice, meat, chicken curry, lentil, sticky wings and pakora and veg somosas. It was almost like standard wedding food. The dessert included firni, shemai and jalebi.
Service: 2/5, although it’s self service, just the overall service wasn’t great. Cutleries were missing so had to use spoon only to eat, until one the or waiters got some knives and forks. Plates were very limited and probably wasn’t washed quick enough as the restaurant was very busy.
Atmosphere: 2/5 Felt like was in a very crowded wedding. Very untidy, washroom was messy water all over the floor, table wasn’t cleaned so we wiped it ourselves with tissue. Very busy was difficult to get food as people were jumping in and there was no order e.g. no queues were being followed.
Absolutely horrible food no variety or options the atmosphere is also terrible. They have an open dustbin next to the food were one of the male workers proceeded to spit into which i could see as I was getting my food which put me off completly Which frankly is disgusting. You could hear shouting from the woman at the cashier customer service is awful. The food itself tastes off, bland and disgusting. Even at £7.50 it is a complete waste of money. Did not feel hygienic at all. The way it is shown on tiktok compared to in person is drastically different. Would never bother coming back here again. Incredibly disappointing. Don’t waste your money food is bland and also not hygienic at all.
All the items were sort of 'short of salt' but not bad in terms of taste. Staff were doing their best to keep the dish filled. I was surprised that there was not a single vegetable dish. Even the fish curry had no vebgetable in it, only potatoes.
Overall, it is worth spending £5 for this buffet (friday)....staff are friendly apart from the cashier girl. Neither doesn't she smile nor does she greet people. Very ennoying.
Toilets were clean enough..so thumbs up for that.
Overall I recommend people to go and try.
The food were delicious. They way people made so much negative comments I thought good will be the worst test. In reality all stuffs were friendly and approachable. I would recommend to go and try ….

Ayan's Grill is specialized in door and out door party and catering. The restaurant is very specious with a capacity of 130 seats which is extendable up to 140. Its a nice clean and HMC certified. Today’s food was even better. I spent 200 pounds.
As I entered the restaurant I was greeted and welcomed, the service was very nice and welcoming, they also was helpful. The food was delicious as there were many things to try from, I had the beryani and beef curry which tasted very nice. Would defo recommend and would come again with family. There is many things to try from, also the decorations and lighting was colourful with a watercolor effect. Very beautiful restaurant.
All of the hyped up on bangla channels, social media or by word, it's nothing like that! Misleading advert 20 buffet.. which is actually 11 not 20 they includes 2 salads and sauces which makes up 20, they placed beef curry in lamb curry place, which i had by mistake also found a fish bone in the beef curry which completely put me off from having it, the wings were burnt like hell lucky some were half okay, over crowded with peoples, definitely not suitable for kids or baby like your bengali with no patience, very disappointed travelled far to eat and waste money, also not sure why a lady was dress as Flight attendant I think she was promoting Bangladesh Biman Airline
An Avarage bengali buffet restaurant. With starters and desert approximately 15 items including salad.
Food: 3 Starters are all taste good and i really liked their chicken, beef and fish curry. Don't try chicken biriyani. Its bad.
Desert: Tasteless deserts like you can see the video of cutting the suji halwa like hard as brick. And laccha semai have no sugar no taste. You really need to give something nice in desert please this two iteam are useless.
Bad things: Guys make sure you go with your own water and keep it on your bag otherwise they will ask you to buy a bottle for £2 . They won't give you tap water the owner of the shop told all the employees not to give anyone tap water. Thats disgusting right??.. i have added the water bottle picture on my review so you can see the size.
The owner is being very dishonest and asked me to pay cash when i told him i will pay by card. Then he told me sorry there is a cash machine on the other side of the restaurant so please go and bring cash. But they never said on the first place that i have to pay by cash even its not written anywhere they only accept cash. Then i told him i have credit card so i have to pay by card. After that he took the payment. Very dishonest person.
The new male and female staff members were very polite and soft.
