The food was amazing, homemade filling, huge portions. We had soup and pakora to start, steak pie that had sausage in it, and gravy was amazing, and hubby had curry. Hubby struggled to finish it which is unusual!! Then just about managed pudding which was sticky toffee pudding and apple pie with custard. Definitely be back.
Small village pub,our first visit after seeing good reviews, excellent home made food,very friendly staff and good price,will go back again.
Just back from here foo as coo great pub grub freindly staff made sure we had everything we needed first time there but not the last xx 3 courses £15 great value xx

It looks like it's closed down. Should have read the reviews, they're all 3-5 years old.
Sorry my mistake, didn't realise you were closed on Monday, didn't check the opening times. Visiting the area and we're looking for somewhere to eat. The reviews all appear old so made the wrong assumption, my apologies.
