That company is run by two frauds - Scott and Stefan , doesn't deserve even one star . I bought an Audi from them and I paid in full. Since day one I had so many issues regardless I've been adviced by them that the car is fine to drive .As per documents of the car, seems passed all checks though must be a deal under the table with the car service.
They will give you 3 months of guarantee of your purchase , though by the time someone even bother to sort out your problems it might be expired .
Their mechanics are incompetent and most likely instead of fixing your car they will keep your vechile in abandon garage in the outskirts of the town ,until you don't lose your mind and just collect the car in order to sort it by yourself.
Spend almost a month chasing for updates of the repair and beside of the feeling I was ignored I didn't get anything more.
They fail to show me their car dealership license and once I start asking for refund as per law they provide me with their personal vechile as courtesy car , so they could keep wasting my time .
Do your best to avoid dealing with them so you could save your money , time and dignity
Please avoid this company at all cost, especially if you have a small family! I've had a nightmare with this company right from the start of the sale and luckily I reported the faults with my finance company within 14days of the sale and now its finally been handed to a case handler, I am awaiting an independent enginer to check over the car which will hopefully be inspecting the vehicle in the coming days. I bought the car back at the end of July and had to wait over a week due to them saying they would replace the cambelt (Sold my car for PX of £150 due to the promise they'd do the cambelt) and complete a service on the car. However I've since found out that the car has a camchain not a belt so that wasn't touched but still put on my paperwork it was completed. My partner recently had to do a complete engine flush on the vehicle due to the oil being super thick and black (not been changed in a long time) This is after the car was sent back due to a oil leak and they had it sat for 3 weeks before starting any works on the vehicle. I also reported several faults which weren't touched and no information on the car when it was sent back to me. I still have a missing bolt that should be holding the air conditioning unit, tapping from the engine and already had to replace parts. The only thing the vehicle did get was a brand new windscreen but only because my partner got involved and said no way we would take the car with 3 windscreen chips. The car was delivered to me and when I started the car there was an issue instantly and had to get the engineer to come back to my house to do some works outside my home. I wouldn't trust any of the machanics working for this company because they don't seem to have a clue. One was very rude when he promised a curtsey car and then kept failing to deliver or keep me updated. This has been by far the worst car sale experience I've ever had and in fact the 05 plate ford focus I PX was much more reliable and engine sound than the car they sold me. On top of all this the car potentially has a head gasket problem that is being taken for a test this afternoon with a garage we do trust and could end up costing me a lot of £! No one should be dealing with this from a company thats been recommended by a broker. You kind of expect this from joe bloggs down the road on a private sale but not a 'reputable garage' judging by the recent bad reviews they are on a downward spiral and the cracks of this company is starting to show. I can also vouch this company has no customer service skills and very rude! What should of been a nice little run around for me and my 3 year old has become an absolute nightmare thats costing me a lot of £ to fix/get checked! So please don't take the risk.
Very bad experience. On March 2023 purchased from them Mercedes-Benz Viano. Bus had lots of issues including non closing electrical doors and lots of minor issues. Since first day Scott was feeding us with promises and stories about problem to get the parts. AVOID THEM TO SAVE YOUR NERVES AND MONEY.
Scott made this a relaxed, super easy experience. I trusted him to explain all aspects of the car and sort the paperwork. He kept me updated with regular phone calls for pick up. i can highly recommend Avon Cars. Thanks Scott
Bought the car from them Nov 22. Ad was false, listing equipment that was not present. Car had faults that I was promissed they will be sorted under 3mths warranty included at the point of sale. Whole year later, several emails and car still not sorted. Had to fix from my own pocket. Absolute shame, bunch of cowboys, avoid like a plague
I am writing this for my Dad who bought a Ford Focus.
We found Avon Car Sales to be a very professional, small dealership. All the staff we spoke to were very knowledgeable & helpful. We rang 2 hours before visiting to make sure the car was still for sale, as we had a 1 hour journey. When we arrived the car had been washed and was in a position to look all around it with plenty of space. We were impressed with how it was presented. The whole process of purchasing the car was made very easy. We would highly recommend Avon Car Sales.
Absolutely horrendous. It isn't even worth the one star. Selling people cars thats are not fit for purpose & then pretending to go into liquidation so they can push the issues away from themselves. Rude, inconsiderate & cowboys. Scott Coulson & Stefan Brain run this ' business " together even though Scott makes out he has O knowledge about cars and is only there as he wants to help people but in reality he doesn't, he screws them over like his boss. They are still selling cars even though they have told certain customers they are going into liquidation. If you have had an issue with these cowboys contact trading standards. They are coming for this company.
Very professional company, during this Covid madness, they were brilliant and answered all questions, upon visiting to collect, social distancing was maintained.
Honesty was key, they were going to carry out a cam belt change on my VW T5 and advised cost. Once their mechanic took it in he realised it was chain so no cam belt change required. They contacted me to let me know the cost saving/good news.
Very reputable company.
