The staff in this pharmacy are incredibly helpful. They helped me get a prescription yesterday that a family member was struggling to get and was very necessary.
They also made a suggestion of how to make it easier to receive prescriptions in the future and implemented their suggestion.
I would highly recommend using their services.

You need to update your opening days and times online because it says your open today new years day just been to pick a prescription up and your closed im confused
This pharmacy is a total waste of time . Unprofessional and just interested in making money. Prescriptions with stamps and signatures aren’t sufficient for them . Rejected my sons ( 15 year old ) prescription which had the dentists signature and stamp . The Dr hand writ the quantity and the genius owner and pharmacist at avenham lane refused to dispense it . Clearly insinuating it was added by the customer or too scared the Nhs won’t reimburse him with a script worth £20 . Its tooth paste and not controlled drugs . Legally nothing wrong with the script but still wanted me to go back with it to the dentist and have it signed again.
After speaking to other pharmacy owners and time served pharmacists it’s pretty evident that our local pharmacy is just not with the races and is badly run or shall I say provides a service to the selected . They clearly aren’t interested in the well being of patients and rather put patients & parents into inconvenience . I shall be making a formal complaint and taking this up with the local gphc inspector and Nhs England. Stay away !!!
Very rude staff. (Edit: I am indeed not a customer of this pharmacy, I was a prospective customer who was very put off by the rudeness on the phone. I found another pharmacy that were a delight to deal with and had everything sorted for me to perfection, - they got a 5 star review.)
I have used the pharmacy for about two years and have received nothing but exceptional service. The staff go above and beyond to resolve any issues such as calling the gp surgery with regards to any complications. The staff are also highly profesional and have a high level of knowledge with regards to their profession. There is always a friendly atmosphere and they are always willing to help. On occasions where have been unable to collect a prescription they have accommodated by delivering the prescription at home. I am extremely satisfied with the service they provide and would highly recommend them to anyone.
Most times I go in to collect my prescription the pharmacist is standoffish and cold, but on this particular time, she was extremely rude and was displaying discriminatory behaviour. It made me feel on edge and I will be changing my pharmacy. Second experience, I go to collect my seizure medication and they don't have it, eventhough I gave them 5 days to sort it. He was so rude and really didnt care that I would have a seizure.
Absolutely shocking service, they are generally quite rude when I pick up my Perscription, they are never open at 08.30 and generally close before 18.00, i understand them closing 5 minutes before if there are no customers but more than 10 minutes is ridiculous,
My partner went to pick up my Perscription once and they said it wasn’t there, I called the doctor who assured me my Perscription was there, they then double checked as my partner refused to leave and lo and behold they found it, I will hopefully be changing my pharmacy very soon
So after I put this review on I received a phone call from the pharmacy who asked me about my review, I explained my reasons and my partner basically got called a liar, the lady appeared to refuse to accept the review just because they were nice once or twice, I felt like she was rude on the phone, very unprofessional, I also told her she sounds like she doesn’t want to serve me due to the review which she denied however when I said I would be going elsewhere from now onwards, she was happy to then end the call, it shocks me how people get away with such customer service, it is despicable
