Definitely a cowboy he was up for the job even though he had other jobs I paid 2500 for a engine and labour he said it was a brand new second hand reconditioned engine so few wks later the car knocking out white smoke I had to go to another garage who check the car over and said its not recondition it's still the same engine, I've message him and rang him no luck got told he moved to Durham
Oh did I mention I've got his passport that he left in the car
I've used Auto Tech with my last two cars. I cannot fault the service these guys provide. even when I was going through some financial difficulties Jonathan went above a beyond to get me back on the road. And even though he’s through some health issues and treatment he still makes getting vehicles back on the road his priority. there may be a delay sometimes getting the car back, but unforeseen circumstances cannot be helped, Jonathan and his team are a genuine set of lads I will always use Auto Tech as long as their doors are open.
If I could give this a zero rating I would. I booked in for 03/10 only to turn up and find the garage was closed. I called and was informed due to an issue they had to close, although a courtesy text or call would have been nice I understood and agreed to take my car in the next day. I turned up again a day later and once again the garage was closed, tried calling with no answer. I ended up bumping into people also waiting to be seen, and one gentleman who has been trying to get his car back for 10 days! Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere, I've had a lucky escape but anyone thinking of going here avoid these cowboys like the plague!
Excellent service offered and provided by Richard. I'm very confident that he is trustworthy and that he would not sell "a pig in a poke". We needed to get something cheap and reliable to get my son back on the road quickly after his car was stolen and Richard came up trumps.
Worst garage experience I've ever had.
Lied to me throughout, delivered my car back to me twice and it was still broken. after the 3rd time back with them, it was fixed, but I was made to pay all parts costs and delivery costs on the 2nd and 3rd repairs (issues caused by autotech). Soon as they had my 2 grand they couldn't care less. Had to argue and fight tooth and nail to get them to fix my car properly. Manager is an absolute joke, avoids customers at all costs when there's an issue, but is your best mate when he wants your money.
I'd tell anyone I know to avoid Autotech at all costs. 5 weeks later, 2.2k down and my car still wasn't fixed. Horrendous workmanship, testing, customer service.
I had such a professional and friendly service from these guys. I took my car in with some strange electrical issues and they simply sorted it out. They kept me informed about the results of their tests and gave me such a good price to do the work required. I am very impressed and would highly recommend them. Thank you
When I called I specifically told them I'd had a diagnostics done and I needed a DPF clean, nothing more, nothing less. "We can do that he says, £80". So I took it down for them to do, when I went back a few hours later he told me that wasn't the issue and that there was another issue. However he said he cleared all fault codes and the car is running okay, great I thought and asked him how much I owe "Just £40 he said", I drove it literally half a mile and all the error messages came back on, I tried calling them but no one answered. £40 to do absolutely NOTHING. I shared my thoughts about my experiences with garages, thinking he might be okay and not con me, unfortunately he done exactly the same. I'm fed up of con men mechanics like this ****, I would like to go back to the garage but the trouble it would cause is not worth 40 quid, he can keep the 40 quid and all my bad publicity to boot. ARGHHH
My car was recovered to these guys after a power steering failure. I was so impressed with the service -friendly, good communication, gave me great advice and honest pricing. Thanks again to Jono & the team at Auto-Tech.
