Brilliant garage. Have used A38 for years. Professional, efficient, 100% reliable. Not the cheapest, I'm sure, but I'd rather drive up the motorway KNOWING my car is safe, rather than go to "Bill's Backstreet Motors" only to find my steering wheel has been fastened by sticky-backed-plastic and I'm in the fast-lane holding it above my head. Recommend with five stars!!!
Lovely garage recommended by my work colleagues , I had to call in to replace a bulb on a headlight was quite a complex job to do alone with my car model. They took it in. No question, lovely looking garage and great people. They didn't even charge me. I will be coming back here again! Highly recommend!
Took my sister car to be looked at as wipers stopped working they told us the motor had gone and wanted to charge us £300+ for the replacement was going to pay this but they then couldn’t get hold of the motor needed so my partner who isn’t a mechanic looked at the motor and it had just jammed he took the motor out ungammed it and now the wipers are working perfectly fine. So glad they couldn’t get hold the the new motor and we didn’t part with over £300.. Avoid at all costs when called to tell them they hung up!!! Never again will I go back to them
I have used ASD for a number of years now, for myself and for my kids' cars. I completely trust Paul and would not consider taking my car anywhere else. He's skilled, knowledgeable, friendly, reliable and totally fair. He's never failed to fix a problem or offer a recommendation. Sharon is super efficient and friendly on the admin side and together they make a formidable business team. Try them!

I have been using Paul for many many years. I send all family and friends to him. I am really fussy with letting people work on my vehicles but I count Paul as one of the few who I truly trust. He has a great work ethic, keeps the garage clean/tidy and well organised. He is extremely knowledgeable, has never let me down and bends over backwards to help me get back on the road. His pricing is always fair.
Having read some negative reviews here I thought I better post and present a true picture of this garage. Everyone I have ever sent there agrees and I've never met anyone with a bad word to say.
We started using ASD 8 years ago after a recommendation from a neighbour. We have always taken our collection of cars (4 cars including our kids) for service and MOTs. We will not take our cars anywhere else as we love the service we get. We always get a true reflection on what needs to be done and when it may cost more than the car is worth. A great garage we would highly recommend
