For those of you who know my reviews, you know that I only give one or five stars. This place gets the full five stars! Here’s why. When I got to my hotel, I asked the man who checked me in for a recommendation of a good place to eat, so I responded to him with a question. I asked him if he were not working right now, and were out with his mates, where would he choose to eat? He looked at me with big eyes and asked really? I told him emphatically yes! He asked me if there was any food I didn’t like, and I told him if I ever missed food, I didn’t understand the question. So he told me to try this place, and asked if I was OK to go for a little walk. I was happy to. When I walked into this place I found it to be a corner neighborhood, fish and chip shop and it was very busy. To me this is a very good sign. I got there about 6:30, and I got desk clerk friend recommended, which was the fried sausage with chips and some curry sauce. I also added a cod fillet because I wanted to try the fish as well. The curry sauce and the sausage together were amazing! Oh, did I mention that the curry sauce was amazing?! Oh ya, I already told you how amazing the curry sauce was!! The fish was very good as well, the chips were spot on, and the curry sauce lifted everything on the plate to a new level for me. The curry sauce was nice and spicy and had a very full and rich flavor. As I sat and ate my meal, the place continued to bustle with people coming and going taking away food, and a few people sat down and ate as well. There are only a few tables in the place but they were all full the entire time I ate there and they must’ve served a dozen customers during the time that I ate. This place gets full marks for friendly service, smiling faces, EXCELLENT food, and all around great experience. Thank you for a wonderful meal. It is definitely a neighborhood staple and has a quaint ambience. A little out of the way for most casual eaters but if you want a delicious sausage, with curry sauce, look no further! Just GO for the curry sauce and stay for everything else!
Classic neighborhood fish and chip and Kebab shop at a reasonable price. Cod was delicious and batter on the most part crunchy but it eventually goes soggy on the bottom from undrained oil.
Good quantity of chips but nothing special. Also needs to be drained longer of oil
I have been coming to this shop for many years. The staff are friendly and polite. Their cod and chips are very tasty, and the portions are nice and big. Fish ???? and chips twice serve 4 people comfortably ???? Their food is a decent price. It's worth every penny.
I've been going to this place for the past 2 years now and it's the best fish and chip shop around, Ali and Hassan are fantastic guys always smiling and talking to customers, also the food is fresh and delicious, I highly recommend this place 10/10 always made to feel welcome.
Friday haddock & chips(chunky potato,crispy & fluffy!)dinner was freshly made,super tasty,superb service,really great prices,parking on local streets.

Fantastic service and very tasty fish. Easy to get to from Stratford forest gate and Leytonstone.

The price is fairly and valuable of the foods that I ate; Cod fish and Chips are delicious. The staff are friendly. Shall be back when I have a time.
