We were seated right away. Smaller side of buffet options but plenty to choose from. The pot stickers are delish and I enjoyed the black pepper chicken and their Mongolian grill. I let him know I like a little spice with it and it was perfect! Enough to warm the tongue and slight tingle on the lips.
Little hole in the wall place, so I wasn't expecting much. But dang, the food was excellent! Next time I'm in Layton, I'm definitely going back. And hopefully it's on a weekend so I can load up on the oysters.
The food was okay, not bad for an Asian buffet. Some of the food looks like they were in the warmer for a long time. Service was okay as well. It took them a while to fill up our drinks even though they weren't even busy the time with dining it.
All you can eat Chinese buffet for a good price! I went at peak dinner time so the food was fresh and was replaced very quickly when it ran out. Lots of food choices! The weekend buffet price was around $15 (before taxes).
The interaction with staff is very minimal (seating, taking drink order, and asking for the check).
Overall, I really enjoyed the food and will be back!
Cheaper than other buffets, the menu has some unique dishes.
I have been to King Buffet, Paradise Buffet, Lucky Buffet, Carnival Buffet, etc. and let's be honest, they're all the same. On the other hand, Asian Buffet has some unique dishes like walnut shrimp, walnut chicken, honey chicken, dim sum, etc.
Only thing to keep in mind, if you're here near closing time, they don't refill the food so some dishes are empty or dried out. So just be here 2-3 hours before closing and you'll get all the fresh food ????
Cheap food, nothing tastes fresh. Their rolls are the worst, they taste like plastic. The service is not great, they seem very sad like they feel misserable working here. Nobody even said hello. I would not recommend this place to anybody. We will not come again.
Don't bother coming to eat for lunch ????. Taste plain and had to pick through food to find something ok. No service had to get up get my own drink and beg for water. No drink refill and waitress and waiter's don't say Hi felt ignored and felt like at a funeral dead silence ????. They don't like there jobs ????. Just like a scout be prepared to bring a canteen. Horrible service no heart given. Dinner is better but I'm not coming back anytime soon ????. The ice cream cups helped drown out the horrible flavor in my mouth. Food is not really delicious. Its just in quantity if someone likes to eat a lot without having it taste good.
The food tastes nothing like chinese food, chicken is too rubbery, prawns are not cleaned nicely. Wouldn’t go again
