Consistently delicious Chinese food. The Beef with Snow Peas has a nice brown sauce and the beef is tender. The Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is also very tasty. Staff is friendly and accommodating with special requests.
We recently ordered food from Asia Star and I have to say, it was a complete disappointment. We spent $65 on two lobster rice and two hibachi scallops, but what we received was mostly rice with barely visible scallops. Not only that, but the dish was also excessively heavy on onions, which overpowered the taste of the scallops. It felt like a waste of money and a letdown. I truly wish we could get our money back for such a subpar meal. I would not recommend Asia Star if you're looking for quality and value.
Anyone who likes the lo mein here has never had lo mein from a good Chinese restaurant. Brunswick doesn’t have great Chinese options but New China is definitely better than this place.
Pork lo mein was hot and not too greasey. Fried rice was well cooked and fresh. Orange chicken was hot and fresh as well however the sauce tasted fishy which tells me that they cooked it with other food however this did not ruin the meal for me but definitely would prefer it without the after-taste. Egg rolls are pretty large and good value for the money.
We’ve tried several different restaurants In Frederick but this one has always been the favorite, also have the best hibachi rice and veggies. The quality has never changed in my opinion.
My wife and I ordered a quart of pork friend rice and a few chicken egg rolls. The rice was really good. Possibly a little heavy on the onions, which I don' mind but so might. The egg rolls were excellent. The food was done in 10-15 minutes from when I ordered, and service was pleasant at pick up.
I absolutely love the chow mai fun with chicken. They were very delicious and will come back again.
This place was good when it first opened. Don't know what happened but it has really gone down hill food wise
