Best KPortal Reviews

Nice spacious location with appropriate layout. It offers the infrastructure for a nice restaurant but somehow it doesn't give an impression that it's capitalizing on full potential.
Food quality is acceptable but doesn't wow the clients in this challenging atmosphere.
They've to be more competto thrive amongst the 24,000 restaurants that New York offers.
The food here is incredible, reminds me of my Dadee Gee’s (grandmother’s) cooking. We came for their Sunday brunch buffet and everything we had tasted wonderful. One of my favorites of the morning was the aloo bhujiya and chicken karahi. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant itself is very nice and cozy. Looking forward to bringing the rest of my family with me next time! Highly recommend!
Pathetic service. Even after getting the table, there was nobody to take an order or serve food. The behaviour of the guy who took the order (assuming he was the owner of the restaurant) was very rude. Weirdly, we were asked to order appetisers, the main course & desert ALL at once as if the guy was doing us a favour! Absolutely not interested to treat his customers in a nice manner.
Also, they have not updated any of the food prices on their website or on the menu card so you might get confused while paying the bill. Otherwise, the food is good. If you happen to go, do try their chicken tikka, mutton kebab, shami Kebab, chicken samosas, haryali chicken gravy, their korma & naan. I tried their chilli naan & garlic naan. Their desserts are also really good. I tried their gajar halwa, rasamalai and faluda kulfi.
The food is really great but the service is horrible. If you’re planning on doing take out, give yourself another 30 minutes on whatever their time is. It’s never ready when you come to pick it up, so expect to wait a while. But that being said, the food is good.
Absolutely delicious food. We attended the buffet at brunch. The food was fresh, and well prepared. There was a lot of options such as Aloo ki bhujya, Halwa puri, chanai, kebab, biryani, paya, naan, kheer, chai and more. The staff was incredibly nice, and efficient. Would recommend stopping by if you’re in the area.
I dined in and I ordered two dishes one was chicken tikka masala, and the other was tandoori boneless chicken. Both dishes on the menu cost $22
When the food arrived, the chicken tikka masala came with no rice, I asked why? they told me it’s extra charge. When I finished my meal, I ask to pay the bill didn’t give me a receipt But they told me the total bill is $28. I ask why they charge so much for the food? she answered me that they are charging 15% service fee extra! I said, you never mention it and it was never written on the menu. Chicken Tikka masala should come with rice, not mentioned the 15% service fees.
food was good but they need to advertise online and offline that between 330-430 the restaurant is closed.. we walked in a few weeks ago and couldn't get any service, the owner told us the staff is taking a lunch break; very disappointing because we drove one hour to grub -- nihari could've been better, it was delicious but what about the sauce and ghee? nihari sauce is supposed to be all over the place -- owner doesn't have the best attitude (don't know why) -- someone needs to be in the kitchen at all times prepping food, 330-430 pm are primetime, restaurant hours imo, there shouldn't be an excuse to close down shop in the middle of the day, especially when we're driving from NY or boston, not many other good desi restaurants in CT, this is one of the best though, so friendly note to owner & staff to keep the kitchen & service going from 3-5 pm -- last note, why doesn't restaurant have chicken & rice? pic below is from jackson heights ny, there are 1000 shops in NYC that have chicken & rice, DC also, plz get chicken & rice on the menu such as the pic posted -- guarantee more ppl would come and sales would increase if the restaurant served the latest & greatest
Heard Good reviews but the food was disappointing.the meat dish was mainly curry with 1 piece of meat and the rest bones.both were served cold .
They didn't have any of the dishes that we asked for including chops .
