Best KPortal Reviews
Ashley’s have been around a long time and we have been going for decades.
This place is definitely popular because of the atmosphere and what they is a haunted old train station building.
It’s a great feel inside and outside of this place. You have to visit it just because of that, and who knows you may see or feel the presence of a ghost ????
Now for the food. They have a wide selection of choices but unfortunately this restaurant is hit or miss kinda place. Lately they stopped serving bread service. Always enjoyed that myself.
The service is always good and we always enjoyed going but we limit it to about once a year these days or when we have visitors and want to them somewhere unique.
Stop in to end the year off with friends and family, we where seated very quickly. Our waiter was a fun guy, he joke around with us. Service was awesome, and the food was spot on. Portions size where okay. I would definitely go back
This was a fun visit! The waiter was really friendly and fun. Food was a bit slow, but we weren't in a hurry. The building is old and maybe needed a scrub down on the inside, but the food was really good. Overall it was a nice dinner.
We were not starving when we stopped. The original plan was to only order apps and have a couple drinks. Then they presented the menu and that changed everything. I had a salad with tuna and the flavor was phenomenal, like the service we received. My wife had the french onion soup and it was delicious. I'm imagining the rest of the menu is just as good. Recommend this place.
We went as a party of six to this restaurant on the train tracks. The nostalgia of the building with the hauntings were fascinating. Lots of neat history, with several pictures of "haunting ghosts". To be honest, I'm more interested in the history of the building and its use as a depot at one point.
Food was ok. Had the shrimp scampi and even though we asked for no green onions, it still had onions. Ordered the goulash, and even though I asked if there were onions and was told no, there were onions in it. Also, son ordered some onion rings and those were missed, but prepared quickly after we asked (two of us don't like onions, one loves them, go figure ????). Small mix-up with lettuce vs no lettuce on the two burgers (again, not a big deal) and apparently a miscommunication on the substituted sweet potatoe fries (once we were told there was an upcharge we declined, but they were provided anyway). All small things and completely workable.
All that being said, waitress was so nice and apologetic and even offered a few free desserts to make up for it. Wasn't a huge deal to us though. Enjoyed the experience; everyone in the building was extremely nice and let us walk around to see everything. The stained glass windows were really neat all over the building. It's worth a trip if you're in Rockledge.
Arrived today for lunch. 11am, ordered a ceaser salad and chicken parm. Let me tell ya, the food was deathly beyond expectations! Chicken was extremely tender...just the right amount of sauce.
There is an overwhelming amount of pressure of spiritual energy here. If your super sensitive to the spiritual realm-- you will feel it.
The establishment doesn't "boast" a tourist attraction feel at all, which means a lot!
Quaint restaurant in Rockledge, Florida. Comfort food, cozy and casual atmosphere. Breakfast from 11 to 1 pm. Today we tried their breakfast special which was corn beef hash for $12.99. Fast service and friendly. Can’t wait to try their dinner service. We didn’t get to experience the friendly spirit today but it’s fun to look at round and wait to see if something pops up.
My hubby and I had date night there this evening and had Donnie as our server.
The food, the atmosphere and hearing 2 young girls spooking each other by reading the haunted history out loud made for a great night out.
We would suggest this spot if you want to enjoy your time and appreciate the experience of your surroundings.
