No selection, freezers either aren't working or shut down, not well kept, shelves are bare. The only positive are the cashiers. They are always friendly. Hoping someone comes in and at least makes this store a better representation of what it could be for our town. Doesn't deserve a single star.
Used to be a great little market fully stocked with.a great deli, now most of the store is empty and what's on the shelf is overpriced! Its so sad to see what its become. Has nothing to do with the employees they're very friendly, always.
Great day for me to stop by the Ashburnham marketplace. Excellent Experience with the Whole staff. They Make sub's at the deli. You'll enjoy your visit.
Quality has gone downhill the last few years. High prices and empty shelves. Make sure you double-check the expiration dates on non-perishables. Recently purchased chip dip that expired a year ago. Used to be a great place to grab a few items. Not worth it anymore
It's great in a pinch but it could be so much better. I think that they need to stop trying to compete with large grocery stores and start offering things that the Price Chopper and Hannaford's don't offer. They should cater to people who are looking for a quick lunch thats also quality made and start getting their produce locally. And forget about keeping the standard grocery produce and embrace the seasonal options.
A good small town grocer. I Love their deli sandwiches. Freshly made they are delicious. I particularly like the hot meatball sub. A large one is enough for two. Nice meat counter as well.
I have lived in town for 18 years now and have gone to the market for years. They have gone through their share of employees and even though I really liked a lot of the people that were let go it's not my business to run. I have always enjoyed the food at the Deli and will continue to frequent them.

This place has left a lot to be desired for years, but ok to grab a couple essentials. Today I went in and while checking out one of the staff (owner? Manager?) was yelling next to the check out person without a mask on, complaining about someone else. She then proceeded to continue yelling while grabbing a cart and running around the store- again without a mask. If you’re looking to check out mostly empty shelves and possibly catch COVID-19 at the same time, this place might be for you. Update: the sliced cheddar cheese I bought there yesterday (2/1/21) expired 12/31/20. Gross.
