I too am a lot like others on here, I haven't seen a doctor since the pandemic and I struggle with my mental health , with breathing problems that I know is COPD but I can't get a appointment, I'm lucky to get my kids an appointment and they always come first,so I find myself isolated, depressed and no appointments available I rang this morning at exactly 8am...I'm number 39 in the queue just to talk to the receptionist! It shouldn't be this hard.
Recap..I got called back only to be told that there are no appointments available and if I call next Tuesday I may get a appointment then, they wouldn't make a appointment for me now for Tuesday!! ????
My consultation was around 1pm they phoned me around 5pm. I answered the phone but then they hung up. We tried to call them back and nothing happened.
I have tried to get an appointment many times over the last couple of years. Every time I am told no appointments are available. There is no point in having a doctors surgery when you can't see a doctor. This surgery used to be excellent. Now it is very, very poor.
Our family health clinic that my Parents still use, they are older now and feel completely let down by the inability to get an appointment, the ridiculous call back system and the requirement to ring promptly at 8am to hopefully get an appointment at some point in the near future. It is completely inaccessible and very out of touch with an ageing population. They are accessing health care far less than they should because of it which is a huge concern to their family.
Called right at 8am and waited about 17 mins in the queue. Receptionist was really helpful and lovely to speak with!
I can imagine with the current state of the NHS they must deal with a lot of angry public and obviously have no way of magically making more appointments appear out of thin air when they're fully booked, something a lot of people don't seem to understand. I've been with this place since about August 2022 and this is the 2nd appointment I've needed to book, personally I've never had any issues. I've also not had any issues with rude receptionists, not that I'd blame them with the amount of abuse they probably have to take from people...????
Lovely doctors, receptionists and nurses. I echo the sentiments about Natalie in the pharmacy. She is so efficient, she should be running the country!
Nurses have gone above and beyond so many times for my children, and the doctors are thorough and kind.
Waiting times when you call can be long but I use the call back feature or e-consult which is very efficient.
Thank you for all you are doing, in difficult times for the NHS.
Having just moved into Ash Vale, this is the nearest GP practice but they refused to sign up new patients.The grey hair woman at reception is extremely rude. Went to Frimley Green health centre, it's run by the same company. No problems with sign up and the reception is very friendly . Avoid Ash Vale surgery at all costs.
This doctors has gone from great to awful I’ve just waited an hour and half after having the phone put down on me repeatedly to be told that my 8 year old daughter cant speak to a doctor and to use an app! Absolute joke! This doctors has gone down hill!!! They are going to end up killing people the receptionists seem to pick and choose who’s life is worth saving these days! I’ve phoned 111 who have now requested a call back from a doctor! How ridiculous!
