This place is definitely a hiding gem. Their food is phenomenal. I was looking for the right seafood restaurant because I was really craving seafood. I ordered the special seafood taco which comes with octopus, shrimp and manta ray. My goodness, that combination in one taco is basically an explosion of flavor in your mouth. My second order was the Culichi plate which comes with shrimp bathed in a succulent and flavorful poblano green sauce. The food portion of each order is more than plenty. The restaurant was very clean, and welcomes you with good banda music. Again, just delicious food. La comida estuvo deliciosa, visitenlo, no se arrepentiran.
By far the very best of the best Mexican food in town. Original at its best and very delicious. Also the dessert is the most finest in the whole city with the deep fried ice cream. Thank you Ramon for the outstanding work and best service ever...
Service was great. Food was fast and flavorful. They have a lot of variety to the menu. Breakfast is served all day.
The food was absolutely amazing, can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but personally I recommend the menudo! The atmosphere was very welcoming and I can’t wait to come back again!
The food here is by far one of the most authentic mexican food restaurants in tucson. I highly recommend their philly omelette, absolutely amazing!!!! I had a bite from all of my friends plates as well and was satisfied with every bite
First visit to this restaurant after seeing several tempting ads on a local Spanish TV channel, & we were not disappointed. While this may not be the sort of upscale Mexican restaurant featured in those glossy, gentrified Tucson travel brochures, it is one of the best choices around when your Mexican food craving is geared towards fresh seafood tacos or molcajetes. The only downside that I could see is that their menudo is priced quite a bit higher than for similar servings at other restaurants. And contrary to what another review stated, my mother & I as gringo customers received a very friendly welcome & excellent service. We will definitely be back!
Food is good here. The service is horrible. The server will ignore you, make bad faces when you ask for more water or salsa, slam the plate down on your table loudly, then make up a price for a dish that is more than what is listed on the menu. They don't like gringos here. If you are a gringo they won't like you. Don't bother going here unless you like rude servers that are happy to rip you off.
Really delicious food, large portions and the service was superb.
