I love Artisan, you can take your well behaved dog with you for a coffee or lunch etc.
There is a glass jar on the dresser with doggy treats in for your dog.
Lovely home made cakes. Really nice menu, with specials on the blackboard. An array of different coffee's, they also do lactose free milk and some cakes etc.
Staff and friendly and helpful. Open on Sundays.
As you walk in to Artisans there is such a lovely and welcoming atmosphere. They are also dog friendly which isn’t true for all cafe’s in Lampeter. The staff smile as you walk in and are very helpful with directing you to the menu and will help with anything necessary. Looking at the menu , I was amazed with the amount of choices and variety of food available. With options for vegans and vegetarians as well as gluten free options , there really is something for everyone at Artisans. I had the pleasure of trying the French Brie, Bacon and Cranberry toasties which was served on a lovely bread with a generous amount of salad and crisps you truly get your moneys worth . I also ordered a hot chocolate with some cream and marshmallows this was delicious and was served at a perfect temperature. The drinks options also vary having many cold drink options as well as decaf options for hot drinks. Overall I was very happy with my experience in Artisans, I was so impressed that later that day I went back in to get some cakes which were presented beautifully on a gorgeous counter with so many options making it hard for me to make a decision! I will definitely be returning to Artisans as soon as possible and will recommend this wonderful cafe to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious food!
A real gem! The first thing to note is breakfast is served until 12 - great! From the wonderful selection I chose the Welsh breakfast. Really good quality ingredients perfectly cooked. Absolutely delicious. Coffee smelt so fresh and tasted even better. Staff are super friendly with great food knowledge. I could have stayed all day! This is more than a coffee shop it’s a destination place for foodies everywhere. Whether you make a special trip or you’re just passing and call in, I can’t recommend highly enough
Really nice little cafe, not very big and it wasn't the cheapest but the food was really good and different! The coffee and hot chocolate was great, also. And they allow dogs. Definitely visit again if we are in the area.
It was a Saturday morning and quite busy in the cafe. With a table of elderly gentlemen and a table with 1 child, between them they made a lot of noise!. Service was slow but refined, although the young waitress in spite of repeating our order got it wrong!
Sat next to the door, everybody who went out or in seemed to want to slam the door shut, which made a hell of a loud bang.
Won't be visiting here again!
I love going into Artisan as its such a relaxing place to have a coffee.
It's not a noisey cafe.
The decor is beautiful and the staff so polite and helpful.
The food is excellent and the cakes so yummy and freshly made.
There are books you can read and handmade local products you can buy.
Thankyou Nicola and staff.
This is not an iced latte. At least tell your customers ahead of time how it will be served. Bits of ice badly blended and thrown into a tiny cup at the price of £2.20. You’ve given coal town coffee a bad name. Also, the staff are not friendly at all.. definitely not the way to attract tourists.
Staff were friendly, they speak Welsh which is a bonus for the locals. The food came quickly and was of reasonable quality. Espresso had an interesting flavour, on the positive side. However the oat cortado was way too large, watery and quite flavourless. Overall a good effort but still a bit disappointing.
