Food tasted like basic breakfast diner. The caramel apple coffee cake was a bit burned, but the best thing I tasted there. Food was mid, but service and atmosphere was amazing! Such great staff. They definitely worked as a team. Servers had their own sections, but they helped each other out and everyone was delightfully positive. Clean restaurant, and parking was good even with it being busy.
We saw St Patrick’s Day special on Facebook and went to try it. They close at 1:30PM on Saturdays and welcomed us in at 1:10PM as well as other guests after us. The Irish Potato Hash was delicious, I added gravy on top! My wife had a senior breakfast with 1 egg, 1 sausage, home fries and toast (English muffin). I had coffee and my wife had a screwdriver. We shared a cinnamon bun square that had icing & butter on top. There was a full bar separate from restaurant area. The staff were all friendly and attentive! Reasonable priced!
After Yard saling, my husband and I stopped in to Arthur‘s for breakfast for the very first time. We agreed that this restaurant must be good because the parking lot was packed.. As we entered, We were warmly greeted by the hostess. Then quickly seated and brought drinks. We let our server know that it was our first time. She was super friendly from the start, and very helpful with all of our questions. The pumpkin coffee creamer was homemade and so good. I ordered the Cowboy eggs Benedict. And my husband ordered chorizo and eggs. Everything was amazing. And their prices were reasonable. I even took home left overs. We can’t wait to be able to go back and visit again. I wish that I could remember our servers name…she was so sweet.
I have passed by this place hundreds of times and finally came here. Parking is ample, but the traffic of people coming and going may be a little hazardous.
Upon entering, the decor and atmosphere are very friendly, quaint and cozy. Staff greeted us promptly and we sat down at a table near the windows. Service was fast and nice.
We had a coffee, Bloody Mary, Chicken Fried Steak, Pancake Combo, Hashbrowns, Sourdough toast, eggs and bacon. The food was hot and delicious, they even heat up the syrup for the pancakes.
I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area or just passing by; try the Bloody Mary; they also have beer, some cocktails and shots of vodka, tequila and rum.
My husband and I decided to go to Arthur’s because we had heard good things about their food. We both got the same meal, two pancakes, two pieces of bacon and two eggs. Our meal was very good. They have a bar with two tables for eating, an outdoor patio and a dining room. The restaurant is old and could use some sprucing up but it is clean. It’s a popular place, good sized portions.
We came to Arthur's with high expectations!
They advertise the best chicken, fried steak and biscuits and gravy on their billboard outside.
We ordered the cinnamon crumble coffee cake which was pretty good, although the butter was cold so it didn't melt properly.
The waitress immediately offered to get us melted butter which came in a small ceramic container.
That was fantastic! Be sure to order yours with this in advance.
We ordered the chicken fried steak with the country, potatoes and biscuits and gravy.
The chicken fried steak just was off, we always order with the gravy on the side so we can taste the quality of the chicken fried steak and breading before we smother it (Plus it gives you a crisper chicken fried steak to eat).
It was really a let down that this did not meet up to their advertising hype and we will not have that dish at Arthur's ever again.
The potatoes were actually horrible, they reminded me of very thinly sliced au gratin potatoes and didn't come out crispy as we ordered and weren't worth eating even if they had come that way.
The biscuits and gravy were excellent, probably the best biscuits I've had in years and the gravy is easily amongst my top favorites.
We left fully half of our shared plate untouched and nobody asked if we liked it or not.
The coffee was good, and again the service was spectacular!
We will probably come back and try a different dish, but I don't know what we will order without a good potato option.
Last Sunday it was my first time there, not the last one for sure! Loved the food, it was simply perfect. Service was phenomenal, they made me feel like home immediately, awesome atmosphere! Even though the place was packed, it wasn’t messy at all, short waiting time, I’m coming back again for my Super melt and curly fries!
This place is always good. Depending on the day you might have to wait for a talbe to open up, bit for me and my husband the wait wasn't long. The wait for our food was a tiny bit long, but the wait is always worth it. I love their biscuits and gravy. The pancakes however were rubbery. I don't know if it was just because it was a busy day or If the cook just isn't good at Making pancakes. Other than that I do recommend this place.
