What an amazing family run business Anne you are a total gem all of you are we had an amazing night in your chippy last night not the first time I’ve been we came last year and yous dident disappoint as I had told my mates all about yous and brought them with me this time fantastic service and the best chippy food going bar none thanks again and see yous all next year ❤️
We ordered from this chippy tonight whilst on holiday. We couldn't have asked for a nicer, more thoughtful service. The food was lovely, large portions and great value. The staff were more than friendly, asking about our trip and making a thoughtful gesture for our grandad. We can't thank them enough.
Bitterly disappointed and actually feel a little bit angry by my experience,
The batter on my fish and pizza crunch was all thick and soggy, chips as mentioned by previous reviews are just bought frozen chips.
I also ordered scampi, which turned out not to be scampi but rather some cheap white fish mini bite thing.
I feel like we had £40 stolen from us for this meal.
£40 which we could have used for groceries, with current economical climate, I really believe that it is unethical to take people hard earned money for a sub par product.
Don't support this business.
Food was lovely although some of it was a little greasy but it is a chip shop so to be expected to a certain extent. Chips were perfect, and fresh. Staff very polite. Only complaint has to be the length of time we waited for the food. Shop was quiet aswell. Anyway we will definitely be back when passing by.
Lovely staff, but chips are disgusting. Curry sauce was frozen wouldn't return didn't know there was a pub halfway up rd that does beautiful food for a wee bit more but we wasted 20 quid of our money also £1.75 for a can of juice
The good, the place was clean and quite well organised.
It was not cheap at £18 for f & c twice, plus 2 cans of pop.
Fish was great, chips were pretty good. All piping hot.
Could have done with more salt and vinegar.
All in all very good and would recommend.
Very very nice chippy. The staff where lovely and the food was exactly what I needed after a long walk. Would highly recommend if you are in the area.
Sausage & chips were very tasty indeed and the portion more than ample. Fine choice of beautiful & original gifts were on sale there and the two girls serving were most amicable and very generous with their time and indeed were a wealth of knowledge.
