First time playing this course today. Drove over an hour to meet a friend who is local to the course. Absolutely loved it. Fairly priced. Nice, clean clubhouse. Staff friendly. The course is challenging yet simple. Fit for golfers of all skill levels. Absolutely love that the carts have ball and club cleaners attached to them. Would make the drive to come back without hesitation.
Great place to sharpen your mental approach to the game. Iron accuracy is a must. Tricky little greens that make a golf say golf words.????⛳????????????
Coverage in fairways wasn't good, tight lies most of the time, unless you play winter rules. Burmuda slow green. Beach fairly taken care of. Went back charges $38.00, been paying not more than $30.00. Not worth one grade above a driving range condition. Play in Manchester now on.
This course is a hidden gem. I hadn't hit a golf ball in years and wanted to hit a few buckets of balls. I had no idea that you can use the driving range 24 hours a day. They explained their rules for the range and showed my the chipping green and a separate putting green, both just outside the club house. Clean, inexpensive and not crowded with a bunch of guys that were like pros or were super good. Just a bunch of average guys having some fun hitting golf balls on a Sunday afternoon. I bought a bunch of tokens so I can go back and do some time on the range at night. The course looked challenging and well kept and there were plenty of carts available. Give them a shot when you feel like getting in a few holes.
Course is in good shape and very playable, but you have to bring everything you want to drink and snack on. The clubhouse is being run on a shoestring and the Cafe is deserted.
It's not a bad 9 hole layout. But don't take your kids. I took my boys today. It was empty. We were going to play alternate shot w/me carrying 3 clubs in my hand for us to share. The course was empty. I don't think we would've even gotten through 4 holes. I wanted to pay for 9 holes, but they told us NO because one of my boys wasn't old enough. 2 days from Fathers Day on an empty golf course. Jerk move
Nice course, just don't like that they have 2 scrambles a week. We were turned away because they were having a scramble.. 1 scramble a week is good for any course.
Great course, getting better every day thanks to the great staff. Keep up the good work.
