We were in town for commencement weekend and this was the perfect place for an afternoon family brunch. love a late brunch (until 3pm) and the food here was great. Good sweet and savory brunch options, and not run of the mill. The best part was the pick your own adventure bloody Mary’s. Select spice level, alcohol, and accoutrements. Yum! The service was slow and apathetic but other than that a great experience.
Found this place by accident after a Jr. Basketball game and it was a pleasant surprise. Staff was very nice and they had a great beer selection. Cool little spot worth a visit. Good menu too.
Armsby Abbey is a beautiful little spot, tucked away in a well-hidden corner which adds to their appeal. Step inside and experience a side of Worcester that you wouldn't expect!
The food is delicious, artisanal and crafted with mastery. The drinks are plentiful and unique, offering both botanical and liquor heavy options to quench multiple different tastes.
This place is well worth a visit if you're searching for an intimate, and beautiful venue for a small gathering of friends or an exceptional date night.
Great place for breakfast/brunch. Loads of things on the menu looked appealing - ended up going for my go to, the chicken sandwich (add bacon), which was very good. Decent menu of cocktails (apparently they’re know for their Bloody Mary’s) and range of beers (it was 11am when we ate so not really socially acceptable to be drinking a beer). Would happily eat here again.
I’ve attempted to dine at Armbsy Abby a couple of times now and each time I’ve been sorely disappointed by my experience. It’s a nice space and the staff is very friendly, but it feels as though quality has been over looked for profit. When just trying to get drinks at the bar, we’ve been asked to move by staff so even more guests could be squeezed into an already cramped space. But my most significant complaint is the pricing compared to the product. I ordered the Farmstead Cheese which from my understanding included two cheeses for $18 (I will admit I omitted the bread due to a gluten allergy) however I attached a picture of what I received which honestly I think speaks for itself. It’s unfortunate because Armsby has a great reputation, which I do not think it currently lives up to.
Had dinner at Armsby Abbey and was amazed with the food. We ordered the cod fritters as an appetizer, my partner ordered the smash burger, and I ordered the macaroni and cheese. Amazing all around!
I was particularly impressed with the service. Drinks came back quickly and I could tell the bar staff was very talented with their craft.
However, I was floored by the service with Dan. He was attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. I spilled macaroni and cheese on my phone case and he even offered to clean it up. He’s the best!!!
Enjoyed this experience with my wife and daughter. Excellent Sangrias and draft beer. We had poutine, mac&cheese with blue cheese and bacon, and a Mediterranean charcuterie board. Everything was excellent. Great service. Very pleasant
I found this place on my way back home and I decided to check it out. It has a really cool Vibe and a nice long bar. The waitresses and staff are all very friendly and we're outgoing and seems like they were having a really night time working there. The food was really unique and excellent both in taste and presentation. I really enjoyed the squash bisque and had the Mediterranean plate which was excellent as well. The portions were really good and I took half of it home.
