The only shop I use in Jackson. Dave & his staff take excellent care of my Rogue, offer fair pricing and take time to explain everything in detail. It may take a week or so to get an appointment, but the wait is definitely worth it.
Dave runs a nice automotive repair shop. Fair prices got great work. Had to wait 2 weeks for appointment but it's worth waiting for honest automotive diagnosis and repair. I needed a new tensioner and belt for my 1999 Ford Econoline 150 V6.
Made an appointment for 2 weeks out. That's how far they were behind. Brought the car in and because no one could tell what was wrong except the owner, left it. Came back the next day, the owner due back after 12:00. Call then. Called and owner was busy doing a smog. Called again and got the owner. Won't be able to get to the car for two more weeks. Picked up the car the next day and took it to GMC in Folsom. Car was fixed the same day. Shop local? If you don't mind waiting a month or two.
They were great! We had rat damage to our RV and we're not sure if we could drive it. We took the bitten through part in and they were able to look at it and said the RV
was still safe to drive to the shop
and that they could go ahead and fix the part. Very good since it's a 1990 Toyota.

Got my car smogged here, they were fast and friendly. The price was good too. I recommend.
This place has terrible smog service and I strongly do not recommend it.
