Spacious and very clean en suite twin room. Great hosts, made us feel really comfortable. Breakfast is cooked fresh to order and is plentiful. A really good location to explore Loch Lomond. Loved our stay and would stay again. Nice view over fields from our room.
We are a family of 5 who stayed overnight in two rooms upstairs with a private bathroom. The rooms were lovely & comfortable … the dinner we ordered & paid extra for was delicious. Breakfast was NOT continental European (meaning cold meats, cheeses, joghurt, fruits & breads) BUT actually American (sweet, sugary waffles & toast & cereals & tea/coffee) The people who run it were very helpful & friendly & boiled me 2 eggs & has gluten free bread on request. I would strongly recommend to this establishment that, if they want to continue to provide the American breakfast that they at least add some hard boiled eggs to it - no protein @ breakfast means my family will be hungry on a long road trip … they only boiled me some eggs due to my gluten free diet. OR if you plan to stay at this lovely hotel pre-arrange eggs for breakfast with them :)
Such a lovely B&B. The place was very cozy, and we had lots of space. The hosts, Mabel and Paul were so kind and welcoming, and they made a great full Scottish breakfast. This was also cleaner than most hotels I've stayed in, absolutely spotless. The house backs on to a meadow with cows- I didn't happen to see them, but when they're around they usually come close to say hi. I cannot recommend Ardoch enough, it was definitely my favourite place I stayed in while visiting Scotland!
Certainly one of the best places where I stayed in Scotland. Great accommodation with a living room and 3 bedrooms each with bath and toilet. Paul and Mabel are just adorable and reading every wish from your eyes. Not to forget you also get a great breakfast. Thanks a lot for a wonderful stay.
Location of the property and welcome by the hosts was good and they also gave us useful information about the pipe band performing nearby that evening. But we found the beds were much too firm for us and consequently we did not get a good night's sleep.|The place was clean and felt very covid safe so that was a plus point.|Having experienced hearty Scottish breakfasts in the past I was very disappointed with this aspect as I would rate it as just about adequate. Shame really as there is so much good local produce that it is not difficult to produce an excellent breakfast - the sausage in particular was awful.
This is the nicest b&b you could ask for. Run by the nicest couple who couldn’t be more friendly or do enough for you. Clean, comfortable and covid compliant I think this was the best service we had during the whole of our stay in Scotland. On top of that I was given a book to read at breakfast about whiskey and was able to get my dad a special limited edition whiskey from the distillery that he will love. Little things and tips like that make a holiday special. It’s so nice to feel welcomed and appreciated as a customer. Cannot thank you guys enough. Xxx
We stayed at the cottage whilst visiting Scotland for a wedding. Whilst the B&B itself is lovely; warm and cosy with everything you need, it’s the owners of this place that make it so special. They went over and above to make sure we had a fab trip and are just genuinely lovely people that are also super interesting to talk to. Paul showed us the good walks to do (including a walk to the venue where they got married themselves!) and Mabel cooked a cracking breakfast. Both just lovely, lovely people.
Warm welcome. Very clean and comfortable. Beds very comfy with perfect pillow for me. Choice of breakfast time, breakfast was well cooked and bacon perfect even for a picky child! Ample off road parking. Very quiet with great views
