Best KPortal Reviews
This is a nice restaurant for a small or large group. There are a number of activities around and the opportunity to schedule events. The food is good, the service and atmosphere are great. The origin story is shared on the menu. It is nice to know why the area has maintained the original look. They don’t really take reservations but you can call early in the day and they will try to let you know if they can have space for your party. I suggest you try the fried green tomatoes and carrot cake!
Enjoyed a nice lunch at this rustic and elegant grist mill turned restaurant.
The service was okay. We weren’t overly impressed by him.
The food was very good for the most part. The fried green tomatoes and avocados were ok. They weren’t seasoned very well and the sauce was very running and just a decent flavor. I was expecting a lot more based on the hype. The Cobb salad was excellent with the balsamic vinaigrette. The mill burger and almond chicken croissant sandwiches were good as well. The onion rings were very good. The potato was decent as well.
We would go back.
We checked in as soon as we arrived, and had enough time to walk around that attached store before our table was ready. We were seated in a cute little corner booth.
We started with drinks, including a raspberry Italian soda that was delicious. An appetizer of spinach dip and ordered the lemon chicken and the ravioli. Both were delicious. The bread that came out with the appetizer was amazing.
Our server was nice, but distracted (possibly from it being so busy that day, it was Christmas weekend). We had to ask for silverware from another server and ask for the appetizer when our entrees came out.
Overall, the food was amazing, prices were epic. We will definitely be coming back.
Coming here for Valentine's Day has become a tradition for my husband and I! We came in 2023 and again this year (2024). We love the environment here. It feels open, spacious, and private at the same time. The food is delicious and perfect for special occasions. I have allergies to gluten and dairy, and both times we have been, they have accommodated my allergies well! I personally love the "Berry Much in Love" mocktail that I've gotten both times we've come. The first time we came, I got the flat iron steak, and my husband got a burger. They were pretty good! This time, he got the ribeye steak, and I got the slow roasted prime rib, and we LOVED them both. Absolutely delicious! We're planning on coming here again next Valentine's Day! ❤️????
First of all, we had a lovely server and the manager was very kind and friendly. The food was decent, just nothing especially exciting. The server did recommend the house made avocado ranch for my cobb salad, and that turned out to be a good choice. The rolls to start the meal were nice with the homemade strawberry butter. I feel like this is a solid, but simple place for a meal.
Waitress was excellent and took real good care of us! Always smiled and had a excellent attitude and handled the Valentines rush perfectly! Food is excellent and tasty! Definitely recommend and will go back. Thanks again!
This restaurant is well ran with an amazing staff. The food is good and inexpensive. Easy going vibe, if you’re not uptight and entitled. I felt inclined to make a review after reading the comedy of a review posted yesterday. They do in fact have a birthday club where you get a whole free meal (if you care enough to sign up before the second you need it). I know what I’m getting when I come here food wise and they accommodate me above and beyond!
This time I liked the food a lot more. I had the prime rib dinner and it was well seasoned but it was medium well when I ordered medium. My veggies were delicious, but a huge piece of cauliflower was completely raw. They were packed full for Witchfest so I'll give them a break. The rolls were great with the pumpkin butter. It was a nice witches night out dinner. Such a fun tradition!
