Sheriff Dave from the Fry Police reporting in. First let's address what we ordered. We had two regular roast beef sandwiches (one with sliced cheddar), 2 small curly fries and 2 small drinks.
The specials: they have several "2 fors" which come out better than ordering the meal deals if you want what they are offering. At this Arby's there were wraps and a few sandwich choices which I will post as pictures. I will also show what they want us to think the food will look like
They have self serve drinks here and have a pretty good selection of Coca-Cola products along with tea. Be careful of the root beer though, it drips lots of water on you as you dispense. Something is just broken with that one, it mixes the drink correctly into your cup, it's just that your hand gets soaked in the process. No fear though, they have plenty of napkins nearby.
The food came out cooked well and hot. The presentation of it was not to their picture standards but then again, what fast food place has that correct? The roast beef was smashed down on the bun (unlike their picture) and the one with the cheese actually looked pretty good. The curly fries were almost full like their picture (better than most) but mine came with a crinkle cut fry too. Not sure if I count that as a quality control issue or a bonus fry. You make the call. They have plenty of sauces to use.
Atmosphere: in general fairly clean, a few tables needed cleaning but we found plenty of areas to use that were clean. In fact, before we left they were out cleaning those few tables. ???? Greeted at the counter not with a hello or welcome, just a "can I get a name for the order" . I chalk that up to a training issue, not necessarily being rude. She did smile when asking ????.
Special sauce was empty, but they had packets to hand out...if you asked. TP, both rolls ... empty in the men's room. Ordered the new garlic ribeye sandwich because it looked great in the window pictures and behind the counter...no where near the looks in the pictures when we unwrapped it. Asked if they could do the french fries crispy and the person behind the counter didn't respond and looked like we were the first ones to ever ask this question.
They WILL screw up your order one out of three times. So double check your order and receipt (they overcharged too). However, the food IS as good as it ever was. And their prices have stayed very competitive. If you order one of their main well known products like roast beef, you will be happy with it and the price.
This time wasn't so great... the mozzarella sticks weren't fresh... the chicken bacon sandwich was not great... cold... lettuce old... bread smashed. The curly fries were just ends and peices. I tossed most of the food. Wasn't worth going back
I came in on 1/30/2024 around 6:15pm. The manager who’s name I unfortunately forgot, was the most caring and understanding person. He was definitely what is needed in these fast food places to ensure a great experience. I will be back because of him
Ordered the half pound beef and cheddar sandwich and it was cold when I got it. The reason it appeared hot was because they use a cheese sauce instead of real cheese. They don't tell you that they put Arby's sauce on the sandwich either which does not taste very good. Then there was a shocker of $11.59 for the sandwich and a Coke. There were no french fries added nor any dessert. Arby's has lost my business and all respect for money by charging a whopping $9 for an lousy half pound of sandwich that was cold. Never again.
I Love the French dip & Swiss sandwich, but was very disappointed when i received my au jus sauce. It had barely anything in it when I opened it. And the cheddar cups were also half full.
It is the most atrocious, disgusting place you will ever want to eat. Tables were dirty as well as a stcky floor, quite honestly that should have been my cue to leave, and that's was my husband and I walking in . Imagine the back end of the kitchen you can't see. The workers are not very friendly at all. The mustard was clogged and / or hard , you can definitely tell it's been months since it was cleaned. My husband was eating curly fries and suddenly was cut and couldn't stop the puddle of blood he had coming out his mouth by something in the fries, and we immediately threw away our food, asked for a manager which initially wasn't and took his info and said corporate will call within 24 hrs-- didn't but did a couple days later of couse asking if we took pictures. Who in the right mind would think of that in an emergency situation, which is where we ended up that day in an ER. I will never ever recommend it. This place didn't even deserve a star.
