Can I complain about the Arby's in Ft. Oglethorpe please? I was just chumped off by an employee because she got mad at me when my order was wrong. I never once disrespected her, but after she started mouthing my order to me as if I was stupid, she turned around and flipped me off!
I went in and asked for a manager. (I'm not one of those people that gripes at the managers, I mean extremely rare) But this girl... So the "manager" comes up and I told her what happened. She has this condescending smile on her face and tells me she can't do anything about it. Of course this is a franchise, so I doubt anything will come of it if I called them. The thing is customer service doesn't exist anymore. I hate to admit it that it made me cry because I was already having a bad day and I just wanted to get my autistic son something to eat. But I ended up not getting anything except treated like garbage just because she can get away with it.
Has anyone else noticed how far downhill it's gone in the last few months?
The customer service was very poor. It appeared that customers were more of a nuisance to the employees. I felt like I was disturbing their day. When I gave order specifics I was basically written off and told okay sure whatever. And then my order was incorrect. I will not be returning to Arby's in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia. It did not used to be this way there. There used to be very good employees and even good management. I'm not sure what's happened but I'm done with them.
So online it says the drive thru is open till 11 not only did they refuse me service the manager cussed me out when I pulled up to the window ill be calling corporate and figuring out who owns this franchise i live right beside it and they won't ever get my business again hopefully she gets fired I've never been so offended in my life
Arby's has changed their signature sauce, and lost their purpose and spirit in the process. The new Arby's sauce is like they mixed a little of the real Arby's sauce in with a cheap can of hunts 4 cheese spaghetti sauce. Having been away a while and being excited to come back, this was a huge disappointment. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was just depressing, as I couldn't help but feel that the numerous other customers were just silently, dejectedly, chewing on their poorly sauced meals as well. I know they're trying to be all the meats now, but R-B's has abandoned their roots, and as someone who's been coming there since they supplanted Hardee's as a purveyor of fine sliced roast beef sandwiches, the sauce was always what really set them apart from everyone else.
The drive thru is the worse here. My kids ask please can we have Arbys, my response is always, depending on the line. It’s not uncommon for me to sit at this one for 20 min????‍♀️crazy. My Daughter went in this time. Phew thank goodness. There were 4 cars in the drive thru… and she was inside for ten min. The line didn’t move????‍♀️she said her fries she got for my Dalmatian Yoshimura, were amazing she said! So a plus!
Around 1:30 this afternoon, the drive-through was about 8 cars deep, so I walked in to order. I was the third customer in line with 5 or 6 customers waiting on food. Ok, so they're busy. That wasn't the problem. After 2-3 minutes of waiting, all of a sudden, there was a heated discussion between the customer at the counter and I figure, the manager. They manager was about 10 feet from the customer, and they were yelling at each other, their disagreement! At the least, she should've come to the counter to discuss the problem! The couple in front of me turned to leave, so I left too. I left without ordering. I didn't want to hear the argument and didn't appreciate her attitude toward the customer. We ALL have bad days, but this was handled very wrong.
Wait! You ought to choose the pecan chicken sandwich. Chicken cut into bite-size cubes, smothered in mayo. But don't fret. The wrapper will catch those chicken littles on the other side. The compliments go to the pecans, the apples, and I think black olives. Together this sandwich ranks higher than the fish, the roast beef, and the rueben. I know which sandwich I'll be ordering next time. Oh and right next door is Hawaiian Shaved Ice. Perfect for the after supper sweets you crave.
I was there for lunch. They had 3 working there. One doing the front, one doing the drive- thru and one making the food. They were all working together and getting the orders right and out quickly. Thank you for doing a great job.
