Best KPortal Reviews

I picked up my visiting brother from the airport, and my partner suggested this be our first lunch. EXCELLENT recommendation!!
This is some of the best ramen I've had in my life!! And while their vegan options are limited, they have some, and they are done very well. The guys had meat versions (I don't remember the names), and everyone thought it was outstanding! Delicious! We'll be back!
Another re-visit (2023-11). Unfortunately their service is really going down the hill. There’s no greeting, no courtesy, no gesture of appreciation, and of course no smiles. I have to downgrade this restaurant because of their service attitude.
Excellent ramen broth! Has such rich flavors in every sip. The half-egg was done to perfection. Texture of the pork belly slice melts in your mouth.
Also love the Japanese fried chicken. Very crispy crust with tender juicy meat inside.
Presentation was very good too.
Dining room has small tables with pretty tight space to your neighbor diners - like a typical Japanese restaurant.
Service was attentive and efficient. Although could be more cheerful.
Re-visited this place. The food quality is very consistent. Although the service is shy of the Japanese culture standards.
Re-visit 5/2024. Same comments as last visit. Ramen is one of the best. They could score perfect if service is improved.
Nice ramen spot. Food came quickly. My Son liked the fried chicken. We both enjoyed our ramen bowls. Place is clean, bathrooms are clean. Was busy. Overall great experience.
Definitely recommend the Gyoza or fried chicken, both were delicious. Spicy ramen did not disappoint. Great service!
My husband is a big fan of Japanese food, so I will share his experience. He had a great experience. The service was good and very fast. The food was delicious, specially the ramen.
I find the dining area to be a little bit tight, like you can seat at your table and hear everything your neighbors are discussing and smell their food, because they are really close to you, so no privacy. ???? They don’t offer any dessert options either. In general, the experience was good.
Another delicious visit to Arashi. We love this little hole in the wall place in Southcenter. For a cold rainy night this ramen is perfect. So many options for a big steaming bowl of noodles.
I strongly believe that it is crucial to provide an honest review of my experience, which is why I am giving this establishment 5 stars. It is important for people to be aware of all types of experiences. Although the food was delicious, the lack of variety in meat options was disappointing. However, I must highlight the issue I encountered with the staff. Despite my efforts in engaging with them, I felt ignored and discriminated against. The service I received was subpar compared to others sitting around me, and the behavior of the staff was unacceptable. It is essential for businesses to treat all customers equally and with respect. Therefore, I will not be returning to this establishment to support, and I urge others to consider the unequal treatment of others that may have experienced the same thing. It is crucial to hold companies accountable for their actions.
I chose not to leave a tip because the server seemed uninterested in taking my order and neglected to bring me sauce and a straw on both occasions I visited. To make matters worse, she audibly asked for a tip after providing subpar service. Interestingly, she did not exhibit the same aggressive behavior towards other customers who paid using the mobile card slider, which conveniently asks if you would like to leave a tip or not. After she returned to area the man, she was working alongside with asked loud enough for me to hear him as I walk out "TIP!" she turns to look at me and responds no to him.
Great restaurant! Friendly staff kept our waters full and made sure we had everything we needed. The shio tonkotsu ramen was fantastic.
