Vegetables at the airport? Sign me the hell up. My heart might call it quits if another burger and fries place pops up. I got the spicy tofu bowl. It was so good I had to ask the local youths what slaps meant. It slaps. Spice was on point. If you’re complaining about the spice, please stick to milder options. Don’t make the world bland for the rest of us. Veggies were actually fresh and crisp. Well-crafted bowl. Service was tops. I’m stopping here every time I come through
Fish was decently fresh and a great snack when craving sushi in the airport. I wish they had salmon or something but I only saw tuna for sashimi.
I recently dined at the Arami, and I must say, it was a rather mediocre experience. The ambiance was pleasant enough, but nothing particularly stood out. The menu had a decent variety of dishes, there was a lack of flavor or even a taste of any authenticity I was hoping for. We were there on a layover, and it looked like a good place. But over all the service was average, and the prices were reasonable, but I can't say I left with any memorable impressions. It's an okay place for in a rush, but I will not go back.
Edit: While hilarious to read through, the responses from the owner are just obnoxious and at times offensive. Not sure what the tactic is insulting their clientele after a review but to each his own I suppose.
I thought this place would be amazing from the ratings. I was wrong.
The salmon bowl is not worth $16. They dont give you much, theres not much flavor, soggy. The salmon is cooked well I guess..
Healthy, fresh, and tasty. There are not a lot of options at Chicago Midway Airport, so we were happy to find Arami. The cheerful employee deftly built our Spicy Tofu Bowl right in front of me, allowing me to make modification (no onions!). They also have a nice line up of grab-and-go items like California rolls. Be warned : the Spicy Tofu is SPICY!! Maybe skip the chili oil at the end if you want to tone it down, but the bowl was still yummy!
Best Gluten Free option in Chicago airport. The food was tasty and the ingredients were fresh; a nice departure from typical airport restaurants. The server, Ivan, was a real delight so much so I wanted to give him a shout out and leave a review for an airport restaurant. Nice work Ivan!
Tried this place just because it was one of the few places at Midway who's review rating didn't start with a 1. The chicken teri bowl was actually pretty good for airport food and although overpriced like everything here the portion size was decent. Would stop here again.
Server swore their beef and salmon teriyaki was gluten free, but it was not. I’m a celiac, and I was stupid to trust them. But the two pizza places were sold out of their GF pizzas and I was starving.
