Best KPortal Reviews

Really bad experience here, was told I had been given gluten containing food despite ordering gluten free. Staff really rude about it.
Poor quality food and service
Very smart cafe/restaurant 5 min walk from the beach
The service was friendly and the food was good.
Was a little expensive for what you got though.
The food was lovely and they welcomed dogs, which was great for us. The staff were great.
My only issue was the 40 minute wait for a lunchtime salad and sandwich.
One chef was preparing all the orders for the whole bar. It was just not enough considering it was the start of the May half-term holiday, and they were really busy.
If it were not for the long wait, easily five stars for quality.
Just a lovely place with decent music and a nice atmosphere. Dog friendly and has helpful and friendly staff. Brilliant place for a beer after a long walk
Dog friendly which is a bonus as not many places in the area seem to be. Called in for coffee which was amazing.
Great staff and quick service. 6 nations was on which was great for us. Didn't matter if you weren't a fan as it was on in the background.
We will be back.
We’ve had a few visits now and eaten lunch there twice so in a position to give a pretty objective review.
It has a relaxed bistro / wine-bar feel to it.
Decent draught beer offering and a nice glass of wine.
On a decent day the outside space is sunny and sheltered.
The people that run it are also very pleasant and relaxed.
The food we’ve had has been great the Cesar Salad is fantastic, fresh, crisp and not drowned in dressing with the right amount of chicken bacon and croutons.
What is really nice are the chickpea fries - I must have a go at making those myself.
It must have been pretty tough for the owners they opened mid-pandemic but have given it a good go.
I miss the old Indian restaurant who’s site it took over ( with one incumbent in between) and I think there is an opening for a curry/house in the village but Apres Sea is a nice and welcome addition to the place ????
Food decent and staff friendly and helpful. Fingers crossed you don't get the owner/manager who was incredibly rude to us throughout our visit. Clearly didn't like us arriving with toddlers (which seems an odd stance to take if you're based in Abersoch) and scolded us for requesting the "outside" high chairs for our indoor seating. The staff were clearly affected by her funk and the mood visibly lifted when she left, music was turned on, we were no longer made to feel unwelcome and enjoyed what was left of our stay. Baffles me as to why you'd run a cafe in a summer tourist spot if you don't like people and or children. Explore other options if you're a family. ❌????
Had a lovely chilled couple of hours at Apres Sea last night. Great atmosphere, the staff couldn’t have been more attentive and efficient. Terrific music playing and the Madri beer, bread and olives made the time spent there perfect. More than highly recommended.
