Excellent selection of cheeses, hams and other specialty delicatessen products. Not cheap, but still good value for money as the produce here you won't get in a supermarket. Very helpful service.
First time visit to this delicatessen earlier this week. The staff were helpful and friendly, and were able to advise on just the right ingredients that I needed. We'll definitely pop in again next time we're in Shrewsbury. Thank you.
A hidden gem of Shrewsbury. Wonderful cheeses, meats preserves, jams, chocolate and esoteric foods you won't find anywhere else! The staff are super friendly and you simply can't find better cheese!
My daughter and myself came into the shop today enquiring about cheese wedding cakes. Well I can honestly say I have never come across someone so rude and unhelpful! She was a grey haired woman who was leaning on the counter and continued to lean on the counter while we were trying to get some information on cheese wedding cakes from her! It was like getting blood out of a stone!!! Quite frankly I wouldn’t step foot back in that shop again or recommend you to anyone due to the ill mannered elderly woman you have serving ( although it didn’t look like she did much of that the way she was leaning on the counter with a shop full of customers) very unprofessional!!!!!
This place is amazing. Lovely friendly owner and staff. The food is beautiful. They also make their own sausages, bacon and black pudding. Lots of locally sourced products as well as continental. They have a huge variety of cheeses and also sell loads of local beers and so much more. This place is a hidden gem. The shop itself is stunning. They also have a huge range of lovely Christmas gifts if your looking for something different. They sell the best Franchi seeds. The list goes on. I would highly recommend visiting this shop to anyone.
Shocking staff members, I was stood outside this establishment today with my two Italian greyhound pups.
My partner entered the store to purchase some items to be greeted by the two staff members discussing very loud how our pups looked like “rats” and are for “common people”, in-front of customers and other staff members.
Maybe they were jealous due to the attention the puppies were getting from passers by?
My partner asked if they were talking about the two puppies outside, they said yes, she informed them the puppies are hers and left.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
But if any of my staff spoke to our clients or customers in that manner I would be disgusted and very disappointed.
Just for the record, the puppies are both from the highest pedigree and award winning blood lines, maybe the reason they cause so much attention everywhere they go.
Unlike the staffs cheap bleached hair, and the stores overpriced goods. But as I say everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
Amazing range of cheeses, cured meats and other interesting bits - definitely not the kind of stuff you find in the local supermarket! Friendly staff are really helpful and were happy to take the time to explain what everything is. Great for presents as there's loads of stuff you won't find anywhere else and they even sell bottled ale! ????
Lovely traditional deli. Very friendly staff. Only wish I had found it beginning of holiday.
