Very American restaurant. With American styled interior. And of course with American heavy, processed, mostly not vegetarian food. I felt way too heavy after eating there. The place is not very clean, the furniture is worn out. Service was good, could not complain. It was my first and the last time in this chain.
Honestly we went there for dollar margaritas because we’d been joking around about the commercial, but it was really good! Amanda and Camira took good care of us. The wings were yummy and crispy and the bourbon street chicken & shrimp had great flavor. Margaritas were great. We will be going back.

Our server kept disappearing.
Most of the time we have fantastic experiences here. Yes, they certainly feel quite understaffed many nights, but it hasn’t ever been an issue in the past. We were informed that there would be a wait as the kitchen was backed up, mind you there were MANY open seats and tables, as well as at least 3 servers.
Well we figured we hadn’t had any issues in the past yet, so we stuck around, waiting to be sat.
Four people that came in after us were softly turned down with the news of a long wait as well (though they did what I wish my friend and I had done and left.)
We were there before 10PM and left around 10:40PM, and that entire time we were not even seated at a table. We would have waited for food, honestly we would have appreciated if we were at least seated at one of the MANY empty tables. At least then we could have at least gotten a drink :(
I’m extremely disappointed, I was genuinely so excited because we never have had any bad service there but tonight it would have been better to have gotten bad service over NO service.
Salt in the wound was watching one of the waitstaff pour a man his beer at the bar and chat it up whilst we were still waiting to even be seated.
Somehow the pregnant bar hop at Sonic got us our food and drinks within 5 minutes. That’s more than half an hour faster than this Applebees would have been able to seat us tonight I suppose.
Empty quite often but the good is spectacular and the staff is excellent, just usually not up in front ready to seat you. But seat yourself! They’ll be round. And everyone’s so friendly. Great if you like watching sports on huge screens too! All different sports! Just wish more people would go. Quesadilla burger and onion rings are my favorite order!
We ordered chicken wantons and steak. The chicken wantons were suppose to be served with fresh grilled chicken. The chicken was cold like it was pulled out of a refrigerator. I asked the waitress and she told me she can guarantee that the chicken is not cooked fresh. My wife ordered medium rare steak and the steak was cooked well. I asked to speak to the manager twice and the manager refused to come out. The waitress kept apologizing. Terrible food and experience. Do not eat here.
Sorely understaffed, disorganized. The time between ordering and the first appetizer showing up was 40 minutes, and the time from the first entree to the last entree showing up was 35 minutes for a table of 6. Our server certainly wasn’t slacking, but she was only one of two working a normal Sunday evening crowd.
When we got there, every single table was covered with used, dirty dishes and this was at 3:30pm so it was not during a busy time. Our waitress brought me the wrong cocktail and gave me attitude when I told her so. They were out of all side dishes besides french fries. I had ordered the bourbon street chicken and shrimp and both were burnt and tasted horrible. The sautéed onions and mushrooms were incredibly greasy and I only got one tiny piece of mushroom. The spinach and artichoke dip was very thick and pasty. The out of a jar salsa was the best part of the meal. Will NOT be returning there again.
