The food and the cocktails were good. I highly recommend the captain Bahama mama. There were deals on the margarita(for a $1) the boneless wings and the double crunch shrimp was amazing!
I feel bad giving this place a low rating because it has good service and workers even when they are running low, certain people are really doing their best. My partner and I ate here recently and were served by Kyle who was very nice and efficient. However, most of our food was not great at all. I've been to a few Applebee's locations and I know not to expect something gourmet, but the macaroni and cheese pasta here was watery and overcooked, along with the chicken that came with it. My boyfriend's steak was surprisingly cooked okay, though the sides were bland and underwhelming. Dessert made up a bit for the bad dinner, though. The interior was fairly clean and comfortable, nothing to complain about.
I think like most places, this place has a shortage of people but they did their best to get everyone seated and fed. All of the staff was kind and I could tell they were working hard. The food was really good and came out quickly. Good job! Keep it up ☺️
It was great from the time I walked up to the door & they opened it for me, greeted me & sat me down in a nice table right away & continued to give me exceptional service the whole time we were there. The bacon bacon bacon burger is soooo very very delicious!!!
Saw a commercial for Applebee's $14.99 all-you-can eat riblets, shrimp, and chicken nuggets... Looked mouth-watering, so I came to get a taste the next day. There were other customers but it was not busy at all. Service was good, but the food was below average... The chicken nuggets tasted like cheap frozen pre-prepared (not even as good as the onesfrom my grocery store); the riblet that I got had the texture of warmed-up in the microwave, but the BBQ sauce was very tasty, the breading on the breaded shrimp tasted flour and had little to no flavor. I like the Applebee's brand, but will not be returning as a repeat customer.
It was our first visit here & the place was packed which wasn't a surprise bcos we had been eyeing this place since few months but couldn't go. After the visit I have no idea why it's so crowded. Food was very mediocre. Infact we have our minds bitter of spending our money here. Several negative reasons-
1. Even though there were few booths available, we were not asked but quickly given chairs which were uncomfortable. Usually we are asked of our pref.
2. Mine & my daughter's drink came quickly but my hubby's sangria came on table after the appetizer which was like 20mins.
3. Our chicken wing appetizer was lukewarm but the waiter just kept on the table & left. No utensils or tissues/paper towels were given. Aft waiting for 10 mins, my husband had to go in search of waiters to ask. He came aft 5mins rushed & didn't bother to even check if the chicken got cold. All he said was 'i thought u were given the utensils'. Like seriously, who will give us other than the person serving our table.
4. Food was really ok. Bourbon Chicken & shrimp brisket was fine acc to hubby. My fish & chips were not great. Fish was not cooked well & zero seasoning. Kid's chicken Alfredo was fine. Again zero seasoning & chicken was not grilled as mentioned in the menu.
5. We waited for 15 mins after we finished, again no sign of anybody. Then he came quickly, gave the bill, attended another table, took the card & left. No asking about the food or if we want anything else or desserts. I wanted to order the skittle dessert but all this experience made me annoyed & I just wanted to leave this place asap.
Anyways, I got my expectation wrong on this place, hope u won't be disappointed if u visit, even aft reading my experience.
We went in on Veterans Day and were seated at a table with food all over the benches. The hostess stood there and did not say a word as she watched me wipe the food off the seats. We also had the table game that you are supposed to order your desserts on and pay your bill. But it was dead despite other tables working fine. Our food came, but then I had to wait 5 minutes to get silverware. ????
I sincerely appreciate the free veterans steak and vegetables. It was very kind of Applebee's. But the steak tasted expired and the vegetables tasted freezer burned. The potatoes were not very good either. I just let it go because it was a gift.
My daughter ordered the appetizer plate and they gave her the wrong chicken. I politely informed the waiter. He asked what I wanted; and I said for them to just bring out the right chicken. So 15 minutes go by and he brings out 4 chicken nuggets that are half cold on a small plate. This is despite the fact they gave us 8 of the wrong chicken pieces to start. ????
Most of her food was luke warm as well. We just kind of cut our losses and went somewhere else to get a snack. Applebee's used to be great! I don't know if this was just this location, or if they all taste terrible now. But I don't think we would come back for a free meal.
I was quite disappointed with this Applebee's. Server was confused and awkward, did not mention any specials. We came in for the happy hour, ordered few appetizers and the food came in within 5 min including appetizer that we did not order. He tried to convince us that we did. Makes me wonder if we got somebody else's order. Boneless wings were hard as a rock, we sent it back. Wonton tacos was the only decent thing. Ugh, waste of money.
