Went here at 1:30 for lunch with 5 co-workers. There's signs on the windows mentioning the $8.99 special, whe. We asked about it the waitress stated she didn't know about it. One person demanded she tell her about it, this was done half way. The chicken bowl was fine, pretzels were okay a little over done. The fettuccine was good. The brownie "bites" were one little brownie Triangle with melted vanilla ice cream, that was sent back. The turkey sandwich was hard as a rock, and dry (sent back) the French onion soup had the croutons under the cheese. Nasty. Horrible!!
First we got seated in a booth by the stairs that had to available access for a highchair for our 1 year old. Second we ordered drinks and didn't get them for 20 mins. Third our children got their meals and ate them before they even decided to show up with mine and my husband's food. We asked for to-go boxes and we get home with the home to find out they dumped ranch all over mine which in the description it said it was on the side and I wasn't going to even eat it.

Trashy outside filthy insideFood was not cooked right broccoli old nasty. Nuts that went on salad were Rancid. Caked on dirt and grease on tables. All around disgusting!!
We were seated right away. That was about the only good experience there. After sitting there 5 minutes our waitress came and took our order. We placed food and beverage order. My son ordered an alcoholic drink and I ordered an unsweetened tea. Our appetizer arrived before our drinks did. Then his drink showed and I still had to wait another 3 minutes to get my unsweetened tea. I asked for utensils from one lady and she said they didn't have any and asked if I wanted plastic. She didn't even look. I said I need something to eat my chicken Alfredo. She gave Mr 2 sets of plastic utensils. When out food finally arrived (and still no waitress to get a refill) my son asked the server for utensils and she grabbed them from the hostess station. The only thing good about my food was the chicken on top of the dried noodles that probably sat under a heat lamp and had no taste of sauce what so ever. The broccoli was super soggy. Very nasty. The only part I could stomach was my chicken. When I said something the waitress said corporate is watching them so she can't do anything about my food so disappointing. Will not be going back there and most definitely won't recommend anyone going there. So sad because normally my son and I love Applebee's.
Update: I gave them another chance but went during lunch. I had a much better time this time. Selena our waitress was a delight and made sure our drinks were filled and food out in a timely manner. I even called for the manager over to let her know I had a much better experience this time. I may visit again for lunch.
I’m here as I’m leaving this review and I’m not too happy , first i ordered sweet tea for my drink , sweet tea had no sugar so i switched it out to Pepsi . I ordered a steak dinner medium rare with broccoli well done and well seasoned with garlic mash potatoes…… my steak is tooo pink on the inside, brocolli was well done but it had no seasoning . My table didn’t have no napkins , the waitress also didn’t give me silver ware so after i received my food i still had to wait for my steak sauce and silver ware . I finished my soda before i finished my food , i wasn’t asked if i wanted a refill , the waitress did ask me how was everything but i don’t like to give workers a hard time so i just told her everything was okay but she could tell all over my face that i was totally unhappy . I realized that i ordered the wrong dinner because i just wanted something to eat quick lol i was suppose to order the shrimp n Parmesan sirloin but that was my fault so i can own up to that. The waitress was really sweet tho but i don’t think i will be tipping tonight
=( the waitress asked me again was everything ok but i told her it wasn’t , she asked what could she do to make it better i told her it’s fine because once again i didn’t want to seem complicated so she told the boss that i was unhappy and they 20 % off on my tab .
So today Friday April 19th 2024, I decided to surprise my wife with dinner without the kids. She chose this location. I've been here before with no issues, however tonight there were issues. Dinner for her and I was 70.00 I got the Riblette platter in honey BBQ sauce. The meal looked great when it arrived at my table. The Riblette was room temperature at best, it was over cooked and tasted old. So with only taking 2 bites from the Riblette I tell the waitress about my issue with the food. She did not try to offer a replacement meal, a discount or anything instead she brings me the check when my wife's done eating for everything. I WILL NOT be returning to this Applebee's location.
This experience was extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. The waiter's behavior was unacceptable and disrespectful towards the customers. Not only did she neglect her duties, such as providing updates on the food and refilling drinks, but she also exhibited a negative attitude and attempted to start an argument with a customer. This lack of professionalism and poor customer service reflects poorly on the establishment and its staff.
