We went after the lunch crowd and there were 2 other tables only.
Hostess seated us right away and waitress came to take our drink order.
She took our meal order and the food took a long time to come out. When it did, she never returned for awhile.
We needed napkins and water refills. I went to the corner of the bar and got the napkins myself. I had a water bottle in my purse and used that over the ice.
She was at the employee round table with 2 other employees eating.
When she did come to our table, she just asked if we wanted the check. I said no, we would like a dessert. She brought it out with no napkins again.
Very poor customer service. She did see it in her tip.
Waited over 5 minutes at the door. No employees around except one leaning over a table talking to the diners about her boyfriend. She clearly saw me but did not come over to seat me. Tables were sticky and dirty. Food was alright. Just seems to be an overall lack of care here. I love Applebee’s but not this one!
This is my favorite Applebee's in the Pittsburgh area. The booths by the huge windows, it's so so so fun to watch the road below. The view is prime for a restaurant on a hill. I love it. Even if it's just Greentree Rd, it's a great seat to have.
My boyfriend and I tried this location before but they were always out of the onion rings, AT NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN!! So, we never actually got to sit down and eat here.
Our waitress, Kayleen C. was so great. Apologized for things that were totally out of her control. Always checking up on us. She said Monday's were never this busy!! She was great. We'd totally all to be seated in her section again.
I couldn't decide if I wanted my normal salmon of the Tex Mex Shrimp Bowl. She recommended the bowl and my gosh it was AMAZING. It will be what I order from now on. The kick of cilantro, I haven't had that in a long time. A good bit of shrimp in the meal too!!!
Onion rings, super crunchy and a staple for my boyfriend and I to start out with.
Perfect meal.
I'm still always amazed at how great their food is for a "cheap" restaurant.
Who would have thought an Applebee's would be at the top of my "let's go out to eat" list
I enjoy your monthly special cocktails and that is the reason I visit at least 3-4 times a month.
This time we came in for the "All you can eat" deal.
The riblets were okay, the shrimp had no taste and too much batter. The boneless chicken wings were the best but the sauces could have been tastier.
Service was by far the best!
I called and ordered takeout. The girl that took my order via phone was wonderful. The girl behind the bar I paid, couldn't be bothered. I ordered a platter of riblets and they were TERRIBLE. I actually threw them in the garbage.
For the second, CONSECUTIVE time, I've went in to place a to go order. BOTH times I was acknowledged to be seating AND THEN IGNORED FOR THE NEXT 20 MINUTES.
Being an employee of food service since '99, and moving from central VA, I was hoping for a better experience.
We called to make reservations and were told to just come in. We get to the location and stand in the waiting area for almost 15 minutes, no one to greet us. Another group had walked out, and 2 additional groups had walked in behind us. You would think a crowd of people standing and waiting would get someone’s attention. Eventually becoming frustrated I asked a waitress if anyone worked there. She replied I don’t know laughingly. I watched her go to a table next to the hostess station to get the attention of the hostess who was playing on her phone and oblivious. She approached, and without apology tells us it’ll be 40 minutes. The entire lobby turned around and left. We are now enjoying a meal at Osaka. We’ll stick to the Applebees on Lebanon Church Road, where employees work.
The boneless wings were good. The neighborhood double burger was awful. Looks like they used a slider size patty on top of a shrunken patty on a full size bun. The "extra" pickle on it was a single pickle sliver about the size of my finger tip. The chicken Alfredo penne leaked everywhere in the plastic grocery style delivery bag. My kid liked the corn dog.
