Best KPortal Reviews
Most often I get the extra hot buffalo wings and pub pretzels & beer cheese (which are always good), this time at the last second I added the neighborhood nachos. I definitely regret adding the nachos. They had less than a tablespoon of beef and the remaining topping were on about 4 or 5 other chips. There were zero toppings under those few chips so it was literally like 95% chips 5% topping, definitely was not worth $15 or additional service fee due to ordering through Ubereats.
I have to edit my review from last Mother's Day. My mom and I went back yesterday for my birthday. The doors aren't made to stay open for pushing in a manual wheelchair. It wasn't until we got in that someone came to the door. The way to get to the ramp in that of the restaurant is not made for anyone in a push wheelchair or even a bigger chair. The person who sat us didn't even ask what we would like to drink. We waited 20 to 25 minutes just for our waitress to ask if we were ready to order, let alone what to drink. The food, however, was good. This time, my mom ordered the 12 oz ribeye medium well. When she got close to finishing, she couldn't finish because she said it was more on the rare side. It did take me 2 times to get butter for our mashed potatoes. I had to ask for silverware, and I was weary of using the knife (I didn't use it). I also had to ask for napkins. That should be a given.
When our waitress did come to our table, to be honest, my mom and I were just about to get up and leave. Waiting for someone just to ask what we wanted to drink was upsetting. In fact, I was debating whether or not to leave a tip. I did end up giving her a tip, although not as much as I was hoping to give. For my birthday dinner, I was not happy.
The host on Mother's Day who was seating everyone around 3:00, I apologize I didn't get a chance to see his name tag, and Carrie was the best. My mom and I had better service from this Applebee's than at the Applebee's in Summerville, SC. The only complaint that my mom had was about her fries.
She said that the fries were fried for about 1 to 2 minutes too long, but she loved her chicken tender plate. I had the full rack of baby back ribs with garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw it was so good. It was ????????????. The only complaint I have is that it wasn't enough. We did share mozzarella sticks, and they are better than Sonic.
We will be back. I also want to say thank you to everyone who helped my mom and had patience with her as she struggles to walk. However, my mom was determined to walk, and she did. Thank you Applebee's for helping me make this Mother's Day special.
Let me tell you, I've been to over 100 Applebee's over the past number of years, without a doubt, this was the best French Onion Soup I've ever eaten at an Applebee's, very favorable, it tasted delicious. The Chef did a great job on the French Onion soup. I also had the Bacon Cheeseburger with fries, which was so delicious. Service was awesome and got my order correct and cooked to perfection. The bathrooms were very clean. Plenty of parking around the building. I will definitely eat here again, when I'm in the area.
Works if you like to be ignored. Not having silverware till after our food. Told us they would get some helped a new table. Disappeared, so we asked another girl. I never got a new drink. It wasn't very busy or I would have been able to explain it away. I was disappointed
The staff was courteous and the service was relatively quick, I can't complain. I would say it was a good atmosphere for a dinner with the family or a date night out.
Ordered curbside pickup. Overall, food was really good. I think the curbside experience should be improved. It’s kinda frustrating dealing with ppl that are seemingly working on their own terms not necessarily customer service oriented. When I arrived, I parked in the designated curbside pickup area and called to inform that I had arrived (there was nothing to click on to alert of arrival as mentioned in email). The person that answered the phone seemed bitter, busy and unavailable to speak to customers. There was a girl (employee) at another car talking to that party (also curbside pickup parking area) when I arrived. The girl went inside (after a while) and came out with their food and chatted a little more with them. I understand a casual conversation (enjoy ur meal, everything’s in the bag, have a great day) but not a full LONG conversation while other ppl are waiting. Give me my — food so I can go? I passed many restaurants to come here, it was a choice. I’d like to continue choosing this location. She finally came over to my vehicle and asked my name (which I gave her). Darn, didn’t I call and give that info when I arrived? Was that not communicated to her? Anyway, she brought the food out and quickly walked away. I gather that she doesn’t casually thank the customers and WAS actually having a conversation with the other car as we waited for her to wrap it up.
The kids meal (chicken Alfredo) had a great taste to it. The recipient said “I give it a zero because the chicken is so small.” I’m just the messenger. I thought it was appropriate for toddlers. The Mac n cheese seems to be different (worst) from my previous orders however, this was a kids meal and it was received with love. The wonton tacos and neighborhood beef nachos were perfect and tasted as it looked (good). So yeah.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE...
Wanted something different and BOY WAS MY FAMILY and I HAPPY WE STOPPED HERE...
SERVICE EXCELLENT...
FOOD TASTY, EXPERTLY COOKED...
PRICE REASONABLE FOR VALUE..
A REALLY GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO SOME OF THEIR COMPETITION...
WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!
The food is alright, nothing special, the best thing for me it was the appetizer platter with those delicious quesadillas and the French fries from my boyfriends quesadilla burger, the lemonade was of course artificial taste.
Our waiter messed it up pretty much our entire order, so we waited around 30/40 minutes to get the wrong food :/ and another 10 minutes to get what I actually wanted, in the end he fixed our order but he wouldn’t know that he got us what we didn’t order if we didn’t brought it up to his attention.
